For the best possible experience I recommend using my custom made difficulty mod: Yakuza 6 - Prepare to Die Edition.

Enjoying this mod a lot. However I noticed that the starting few Rush style combos often start while targeting somewhere else, then it corrects itself soon after. This is not the case for Brawler combo tho. Not sure if Beast style under Extreme Heat also has this issue since both Beast combo and Rush combo use R1 + Backward + Square as the input. But all in all really really great mod, thank you.

Hey there! First of all, awesome mod and great work with making it as smooth as it is! I do have a quick question though: What did you edit in order to increase the timing window of Tiger Drop? I would like to experiment with it and figure out how to increase/decrease it on my own. If you could set me on the right path and point to which base game file you found the value for the vanilla Tiger Drop timing window that would be swell!

amazing mod pack! Something I wish you to add is more heat actions like head press in Y5 but the general flow of combat is so satisfying.

Gotta say i have really enjoyed this mod and have played through the whole game with it. My only issue that has arrived late into this playthrough is the resolute counter especially againts groups and fast hitting mini bosses. In yakuza 0 it wasnt as big of an issue because it was only in that one style but here it makes it must more frustrating doing rush attacks when soon as someone hits you even if its not enough to stagger out of the combo normally it gets interrupted by the counter which just doesnt feel great mid combo string. I wish i could unlearn it.

The resolute counter is indeed a double edged sword, I myself struggle to make the best use out of it while avoiding its drawbacks. I think of it as part of the learning curve in mastering the combat and thus I left it in.

Hi, great thanks to your fantastic mod!!! Really enjoyed it so far. I have only small request that is there any way to disable all brawler and rush moves? I prefer to use this two styles in K2 with switcher...dont mind that I can buy you a coffee from paypal, again thanks to your great mod!!!

Disabling styles means making a new mod, so no. If you wish to avoid certain styles, you will have to avoid said style's button inputs.

Hey, no you can't use both as they modify the same files.

Hi, I've been playing for a while with this mod and a modified version of your prepare to die mod.
I'm on chapter 6 right now and I'm gonna be honest; I love this mod but I swear I'm getting carried by the taunting while in heat mode, the healing is kind of busted. Maybe make it way less effective? And if you don't want to, how could I do it myself?

It's simple, just don't use it. xD
The healing for the taunt is a substitute for healing items. Items take 0 skill to use and can be spammed with no consequence, while healing with the taunt in the wrong moment could result and getting overwhelmed and dying. The "Prepare to Die Edition" mod is as difficult as you want it to be, as you have the tools to make it easier, but also have the tools to make it harder. That taunt and gear items are some of the tools that make it easier, in this case.
I consider the healing from the taunt to be just right, but only if you don't use the best gear in the game.

Really late reply but I found out later on that if you hit multiple people when you do the taunt, you get much more hp back than normal; I think this was why I felt it was op, was this intended?

It's kind of OP, but at the same time it's situational and/or optional, so I leave it up to each player to decide if they want to use it or not.

Will this also work on Kiwami 2? Looks great

It does not work for Kiwami 2, but I would say that there are other good options for Kiwami 2 like Style Switching or this mod https://www.nexusmods.com/yakuzakiwami2/mods/478 .

There's some bug (at least for me) that always crashes the game on a final boss QTE

Hmm, that's weird. What did you do before the QTE? How many times did it happen?

Nevermind. It seems like the crash was caused by conflict with different mods I had installed since when I played the bossfight with only your mod installed everything was fine. Very fun mod btw, I love how you combined all Kiryu's styles into one. If you could add a basic "enemy on the ground" hact it would've been great.

Thank you for the feedback. I did add a ground heat action at some point, but it always had conflicts with the parry heat action so I removed it.
