TROUBLESHOOTING:
If you are have problems with the mod, you should first exit the game and REGENERATE YOUR INI files by deleting all files in \Documents\My Games\XCOM2\XComGame\Config. These will be recreated on your next game start.
If that does not resolve your issues, you may need to verify XCOM2 back to its vanilla state in Steam before activating this and other mods.
Some issues may be due to mod conflicts. If the above steps don't fix your problem, remove all other mods and see if it persists.
An additional temporary workaround to crashes when starting a new campaign is to move all of your old save files out of \Documents\My Games\XCOM2\XComGame\SaveData. (We still want bug reports if these kind of crashes happen.)
KNOWN ISSUES - Long War 2 doesn't support controllers. We don't have plans to add this. - Our custom cutscenes may not have translated audio or subtitles in non-English installs.
BASE GAME COMPATIBILITY
Long War 2 only works with Patch 7 of the retail copy of XCOM 2. This patch is downloaded automatically when you connect to Steam. To confirm your version, you can look in launch.log for the line "Init: FxsChangelist: 234736." Launch.log is located here: ... \Documents\My Games\XCOM2\XComGame\Logs.
UPDATES v 1.1 (1/28) v 1.2 (2/26) v 1.3 (5/14) v 1.4 (5/21) v 1.5 (8/27) v 1.5 hotfix (9.2). NOTE: If you downloaded the 8/27 version of 1.5, you can get the single fixed file in the updates section and save yourself redownloading the whole mod.

This mod does not work with War of the Chosen. If you have installed WotC, select the vanilla version of XCOM2 in the launcher to continue playing Long War 2.
Update November 2017: After discussions with 2K Games, we're disappointed to report that Pavonis Interactive will not be updating Long War 2 to work with War of the Chosen. Same here (Epic Games) version of the game is not working with this mod. I must add that Epic Games Version has problem with verification e-mail, bugged VIP escort mission (VIP is out of playable field) and I just found out that mods are not working as well. I hope someone can do something about it since we like the game a lot ;)
Abandoned Mod, no EGS support. Could the moderators update the game description so that this scam mod doesn't waste bandwidth? Some of us pay for what we download. This site runs like this, no wonder most people have gone to other spots. Lazy, from nexus and Auth.
The Lost are the silliest, unimmersive thing i every experienced in this game. Can't they spawn in from the outside or least not get such massive movement at the same moment they spawn in in open sight and out of thin air directly beside you? They simply plop in when you are on your last soldier and as if not enough then get to run all the way up to you ignoring all the advent soldiers they spawned on top of placing themself in melee range to you and all just before you wanted to press "next turn".
Still not working for Epic Games. No matter what I try the game will just not start with this mod enabled and its only this mod that is having this issue.
If you got EPIC version of XCOM2, dont waste your time downloading this. Is not gonna work. And there should be an advise at the top of the description page as a warning for epic users.
