Heya guys, was really busy last days and i think i still have to reply to some stuff:
1st: I ll repack the mod and reupload it hope it works then no idea what went wrong. It is also available on the Steam Workshop BUT the chryssalid slash isnt working when you run it as a steam mod (it does execute the attack with right dmg scaling and poison debuff but it wont summon the cocoon) For some reason i couldnt figure out why exactly yet it is working perfectly fine including cocoon/chryssalid summon when i run it as a local mod. thats why i wanted to upload it to the nexus.
2nd: Yeah it seems lazy to just take the alien skills without name changes etc but it actually wasnt that easy for me to figure this out ;> i started modding like 3 weeks ago and all i could find was a very basic guide. if someone could tell me how to modify skillnames or create own skills i ll gladly do that ^^
3rd: The clustefuck of skills.. well i want to create several "Hero Classes" to do playthroughs with only 1-2 squadmembers and had several ideas for those classes but the only one nearly completly covered with basic/alien skills was the Lich King idea so far. If i manage to figure out how to create own skills i got like a dozen "Hero Classes" id like to create ( some DC/Marvel based Heros, Avatar the last Airbender, famous WH40k based chars got quit a list but not the skills to make em reality yet =( )
4th: Lightning hands: i rewrot that skill to work with primary weapon so no matter wich weapon you use it works.
Hope i ll soon be able to come up with some improvements/solutions,
Anyone ?? i simply make a .rar or .zip file of the folder i use to upload my mods to the steamworkshop. is there an additional step required if i want to publish the mod here ??
ok seems im too stupid no idea what im doing wrong can someone post a short tutorial how to pack it wright ? sorry seems pretty dump but would appreciate the help ;>
