About this mod

Adds three new XCOM SMG-type weapons, one per weapon tech tier. They grant mobility and concealment bonuses but lack the punch of the assault rifle.

This mod will add three new submachine gun-type weapons, one for each of the three weapon tech levels (ballistic, magnetic, plasma). 
They offer bonus mobility, concealment and close-range accuracy, at a penalty to damage and long-range accuracy relative to the assault rifle.
They can be equipped by any XCOM unit that can equip assault rifles.

Manually Installing the mod
1) Copy the contents of the mod package to the directory \Steam\steamapps\common\XCOM 2\XComGame\Mods\

Manually Uninstalling the mod
1) Remove the folder \Steam\steamapps\common\XCOM 2\XComGame\Mods\LW_SMGPack\

This mod was commissioned by 2K Games to be released with XCOM 2.

- Fixes issue caused by 3/10 main game patch that was preventing SMGs from upgrading properly
- Fixes issue caused by directly upgrading from conventional to beam SMGs causing you to lose weapon addons

v3 update (3/29/2016)
- Fixes v2 issue in which upgrading SMGs WHILE A SOLDIER IS EQUIPPED WITH ONE will leave an invisible SMG equipped on that soldier, giving an unintended movement bonus and extra icons in the tactical UI. This will probably not fix soldiers who got the invisible SMG.

- Fixes issue caused by 5/12 main game patch that was giving you only 1 SMG at campaign start
