    Just a question. If I change the grenades damage in the weapondata for example I gave them 10 damage and give them +radius, with this mod I gain 10 damage at the center, and in the edges (for example... 2?) I want to create a very big-radius grenade with very heavy attack at the center less heavy at the edge but still make some damage (a mini-nuclear bomb :$ ), in this mod I don't know it is changing the base damages too, or just give the damage falloff thing?

      The edge has a % damage (defailt: 50%) of the center.

    Just thought I`d mention that grenades can still be just as lethal at long range as at centre. In fact, you can escape being killed by a grenade at point blank sometimes especially if you`re prone (happened in reality). It`s almost luck whether an explosion might kill at close range or distance or both, so Xcom 2 has it right on that part. Of course, grenades will likely kill or maim most times from min to max range with less of a chance at the extreme range in general, but it is not a guaranteed rule. Anyway nice mod, though I won`t use it.

    that mod was needed. grenades and grenadiers in general are OP as hell

      Small problem with this mod tho, yes in the centre of an explosion your done for usually, but at the edges a grenade is still as lethal because of all the flying shrapnel, in other words if your within de blast radius you will get peppered. You might consider de grenades OP in vanilla but they are pretty balanced.

      Still, thanks for making the mod bounty, it takes alot of time, but i will pass up this one.

      hitting 5 enemies with 4-5 (5-6 firenade) damage+poison dot+ 20% accuracy debuff+ partial ability lock+ 2 (4 acid) armor shredding is balanced.
      and each grenadier can throw TWO grenades in one turn with perk.

      yea, so balanced it hurts. you can aggro 3 packs at once and just wipe them into oblivion with 3-4 grenadiers without having to shoot at all.

      I would say wiping out platoons with explosives are more good tactics than OP. Also doesn't really work out when you're grenade only damages others adjacent to the grenade and take reduced damage. IT just doesn't make sense, you're beside the grenade and you take 25% less damage than being on top of it? Also late game grenades are upgraded by both research and mad grenadiers for more boom, so instead of weakening the grenade, increase the damage near the center of grenade after they have been upgraded.

    this is great mod for my 2*times enemy squad and many other mods. Frag grenade's have 3 charges and does 2-5 dmg (usually 2 dmg with this mod), so its great for breaking and entering through wall, destroying cover if lucky (nerfed grenades enviromental dmgs too), shredding armors.

    Great mod, but whats happening with Armor shred? its RNG based too? im kinda confused.

      armor shred also falloff just like damage do, and rng is involved for deciding whether to round up or round down just like damage.
