Is there any kind of compatibility patch between this and the map patches mod? both require overwriting LW's defaultmaps.ini. I'd hate to have to choose but if I gotta pick QOL vs Bug fixes i'll always take the bug fix
Cant install as "m_strLabelSimMission[0]" to "m_strLabelSimMission[12]" is not in the file specified in the readme. the line instead reads m_strLabelSimMission="simmission"
anyone manage to install it to EW and get around this problem?
found a program on the net to open the int files but couldn't find the label thing when I did a search myself. Like you would like to have this mod to work
I will say I encountered one small bug. If you install this then try to load a save where a mission had already popped but you hadn't sent a squad yet, the game will crash on the launch mission screen every time. Not a big deal but if you are saving some important mission on a campaign be careful.
Works 100% fine for every mission except the one I already had popped during installation.
Just installed before my third or fourth mission in March and it worked like a charm. Thanks much, Cryptic. I always dreaded getting the train stations when I saw Large Urban Structure.
This is amazing! I had exactly the same thoughts about the exact maps you mention in the description. I don't have the time to play games now, but I'll give this a whirl as soon as I get back to Long War!
