PSA: This mod unfortunately doesn't work as intended. The progress might not be saved and you have to restart it each time you load a save. It might be a problem only on my machine but It's a problem I have. If you can give feedback here, it would be nice. It might be a issue with the save mechanic and I might not be able to fix it. I lowered the times so it can be done within a play session and not require to persist for days but quick save and load might loose your progress. Other problems didn't show up, once you finished a research it should be saved as usual.
This also happens with the vanilla times. Just start a research, wait a bit, then reload. Research is reset and you have to start again. Seems to be a bug in the game in general. Has nothing to do with your mod.
If Boso is light-years ahead why have we to ask for the next level and not get all at once, it just take 30min longer and if not broken up in 4 pieces it might even be mush faster. ;) No, it is just a reward thing, it just feels bad/not right to get the best tier within a hour. The better teleporter gain a lot of worth when you have to "pay" for it and actually have to experience the weaker variants at first.

A fair question. The answer is: progression. One thing requires the other before it's possible. A simple analogy: If you wanted a hamburger, 1) you first need to make the buns, 2) grill the meat, and 3) put it together.
But, it is nice to have options. And I should really apologize if my line of question in some way put a damper on your creativity. I did not mean to. Here you are contributing to the modding community whereas I have not. So thank you for the mod and keep it coming! I look forward to poke more questions at you (just kidding!). :-)
Most mods want to make things faster, so this is a niche and the most probably will ask "why". This one is just; I had a problem with it and I had the opportunity to change it, thanks to easy access/modability from Egosoft. If someone like it and find it useful I'm happy ;)
awesome defo a needed mod i didn't understand why they set all of them to 10min ill add it to my list for my next playthrough already researched them em all in this playthrough
