    The mod is save incompatible, if you disable it later on you can't load your save ever again.

      You can use Visual Studio to find 2 entries of XL Beam Nerf and remove them from the .XML save. Then repack it to .gz using 7zip.

      I'm guessing the culprit for this mod messing with saves is the save="1" inside the content.xml file. Most mods have that to a 0.

    If you could upload this to the steam workshop that'd be great! I use Geforce now to play this and the service allows mods, but only from steam workshop.

    Thank you! This imbalanced weapon spoils the game. This is a common situation when you created a fleet for the war with xenons, and the xenons are no longer on the map, they have all been killed, instead of xenons, Asgardians live in their sectors with their mega rays. For example, I had to intercept and destroy the Asgard so that they would not destroy all the xenons. :)))

      You're welcome. :) I happen to disagree; I love the gun just the way Egosoft made it and would never use this mod in my own game, but I know there are some people who feel as you do, so I made it to put your minds at ease. Enjoy!
