About this mod

Click on the map to find a builder, a business, use SETA anywhere, or trade with TeleStore.
Click on a station to display data leaks, voice leaks, talk to crew, trader, open craft or workshop without using your zero-G legs !

Requirements
Permissions and credits
Player Services brings a small set of useful services:
Right click on the map to:
- find a builder
- find a business (production)

Both open a dialog displaying the closest builder/station. The business part is especially useful to find those station part whose blueprint you may want, if you know what i mean :-)

- SETA anywhere: here is the brand new generation of portable time accelerator ! Now you can bring it with you wherever you are. A simple right click on the map away ! The latest addition to SETA Anywhere will ensure that even when the universe conspire to return to a boring slow time flow, SETA Anywhere automatically resume a most thrilling time acceleration as soon as physically possible !

- TeleStore: a new remote retail service. Call TeleStore for your legal inventory items needs (or your ship tuning components) wherever you are in the universe, the delivery will be teleported to you. No more hoping from station to station like a mindless drone to find what you are looking for. Welcome to a new era of connectivity, where saving your time is our main concern, all for a low fee of 1/3 of the price of your order.
(only items stated as sold from traders by the encyclopedia that are also legal are included).

Right click on a station to:
- display data leaks
- display voice leaks
- display crew / trader / craft / workshop without having to walk.
( workshop only works when docked at a station with a workshop )
Known problems:
- you should not be at the pilot sit of your ship and call the craft panel: it won't work.
- close the map before buying your slav... er... employees (you must choose a location on the map and apparently having the map already open will make the operation to fail. If that happens to you, opening and closing the map should correct the inconsistent state the game finds itself in).

Compatibility:

The mod has been tested to work with 3.1 and the Split Vendetta DLC.

On linux, i had to change the line 10 of rightclickapi/md/right_click_api..xml to:
<raise_lua_event name="'RegisterAddon'" param="'extensions.rightclickapi.right_click_api'"/>

Note that this mod should work for upcoming releases without any update. But the Right Click API is very likely to have to be adapted to each new version. Also, being on linux with the GOG version, i cannot access the beta, so i don't know if this works with the beta versions.

Installation:

put the folder name playerservices and all its requirement into <x4 root folder>/game/extensions or <home>/.config/EgoSoft/X4/extensions on linux. For other OSes, replace <home>/.config with your usual home directory.

Remember to get G Workaround and right click API and put both folder in the same place as playerservices

Also, on linux, all files and folder names are to be changed to lower case ! (If i remember correctly, this has to be done for the two requirements).

Have fun and stay safe !

Changelog:
- version 1: initial release
- version 2: SETA option is now a toggle. Yellow light in the ship to differentiate with the normal white colored SETA.
- version 3: SETA tends to deactivate itself on certain events (like highways...) which would cause a bug where you could not deactivate or reactivate SETA without activating or deactivating SCAN mode for example. This version fixes that by periodically looking (each 5 seconds) whether SETA has been automatically shut down and should be reactivated. This means you can now travel with SETA enabled while being a spectator and SETA Anywhere will reactivate as soon as you are free of the highways.
-version 4: Updated business finder: I previously missed some 'component' wares and also missed the two new food (chelt meat and scruffin fruits) from the split DLC.
-version 5: added workshop option to 'no walking plz' menu.
-version 6: TeleStore a new store accessible from anywhere that sells inventory items marked as sold by traders by the encyclopedia that are also legal.
-version 7: TeleStore now has a new ship tuning component section. The prices are related to the rarity of the items (see the forum for a better explanation).
-version 8: BUG FIX: this one is embarrassing. I checked that you could not sell more than you had, but forgot to check whether you wanted to buy more than your bank would allow ! Well, the bank is now displeased but the credit leak has been fixed!
