Whenever I try to select the Spacebridge command nothing happens except the command window freezes and won't respond to anything. It starts working again by shutting down the map entirely and reopen it again. But I never to a point where I select stations or what wares they should transport :(
Unfortunately this mod doesn't work at all. Here's my story. I had an S-/M-class shipyard with an integrated engine parts factory and all intermediate factory modules. Since all this dropped the FPS too much I decided to separate the factory from the shipyard. Now was the perfect opportunity to test your mod. There was still a lot of ore and hydrogen in the shipyard's storage and so I decided to command an L-class gas miner to transfer all the hydrogen to the factory, an L-class miner to transfer the ore and finally have an m-class transporter to transfer the engine parts from the factory to the shipyard BUT none of the three ships ever move, no matter if docked or not! There's still the specified wares in the source storage, the target storage is not yet full and the ships have NPC pilots. BTW I'm NOT on the Beta branch. EDIT: The M-class transporter works now (prior to V2.50!). I had to activate the station trader option. I can't say anything about the miners because I've manually transferred all the hydrogen and ore in the meantime. EDIT 2: Ceased to function with 2.50.
Wau, Formidable! I just restarted a new game for Beta - 4 and have started taking sectors, I take it that an admin is enough of an object for them to start supplying builds?
Nope :D You need "trade offers" ! and from my experience, sometimes there is some offers even if there is no admin in the station... (i don't really understand how trade offers are managed...)
Nope. There is one entry when a roundtrip is done, but it's managed by the core game. I don't really use the logbook, imho : in an early game, I don't have enough events to need the logbook in order to manage all my properties. In a late game, there are too many entries in the logbook to be relevant. At first, I put some notifications in the script, but I wasn't able to see them properly in the logbook actually : my logbook was (and still is) literally spammed... so I took them off.
Ok, Thanks!! But, with the google translator, I understand very well the function of: - Build Storage ? (do you want to supply the build storage of the customer station ?) Could you explain it better?
Build storage ? Each station you build has a build storage to store wares needed for the construction. This option make the ship to supply that storage instead of the station itself.
Not sure if I'm doing something wrong but when I try to select a ship and select the space bridge command nothing happens, nothing changes on the behavior screen to change anything there and the ship acts as if no order has been given.
Could be because I'm on the 2.5 beta, should it work with the new build or might I have to wait for an update?.
Great idea with this mod, been looking for that exact functionality.
I have a hull part and claytronics factory and wanted to use this as a supplier for a new plot when building - i cannot select the new plot as customer station. I assume it because it has not been built yet. Would really appreciate if non-built stations can be selected :)
You are right : if there is not at least one fully build module in a station : it's not a station yet so there is no trade offer. I also have a huge energy cells/claytronics/hull part factory so it bother me too, but I want to keep the mod based on trade offers because I think otherwise it's cheating :) So I still keep 4 ships waiting just for the first and only manual shipment when I start a new station from scratch, and then, I have a bunch of ships, driven by that script, dedicated to construction sites and they save me enough time (a loooooooooooooooot of time actually) to be satisfied by the script

Base game seems to want you to have one massive ugly mega station that makes everything.
