Changelog: 0.004: Navmeshes; Boat; A bit more vegetation; Changed terrain parameters because previous ones caused the fog, grass and distant water to appear buggy.
0.003: Crashing got fixed maybe? At least it never crashes for me anymore. Save file now has no dlc requirements. Most of the map got remade: The dike: – replaced terrain with TW3 terrain with grass and trees. One of the distant mountains got remade, so it is an actual mountain instead of a flat surface with tree billboards. - Generated normal maps for the textures. They might be a bit too low res because source textures are quite blurry. - A bunch of fixes to geometry. Temple quarter and trade quarter: - Almost completely fixed the weird shading on some objects. - Maps got sliced into many smaller parts, allowing for much better stability and finer collision.
0.002: Now there is a cooked version of the mod that you can install and play inside the game. For that, download “tw1maps playable mod” from the files page and install it like any normal TW3 mod. Then load the save from the archive to access the map.
This mod is amazing and shows what is possible to create with new red kit!
Hoppefully some day there is team (like Beyond Skyrim in Skyrim) who is willing to add more of the witchers world to the Witcher 3. A good team could easily import and recreate Wzyima, Flotsam, Vergen, Loc Muine in Witcher 3 with NPCs.
It could bring Witcher 3 back to life and I think a lot of fans would to see it... Is there are modders who are willing to do it.
My dream is to see all of the locations shown thus far (at least, and maybe more,) in a single game world. That would be sick.
Especially if you had more of the surroundings of places like Flotsom and Loc Muinne and how their regions could add alot of diversity to the game world geography.
We are looking forward to exciting times in the era of TW3 modding. What about the upper level of Kaer Mohren's castle? This is completely missing from the TW3 version of Kaer Mohren. As a TW1 fan, it annoyed me from the beginning, and I didn't understand why the developers just left the upper level out of the game without any explanation, even though it was a central location in the introduction of the first part. Now here is the chance to restore Kaer Mohren to its original glory. The upper level map is by far smaller than a city map. How long would it take to convert it into REDkit, and insert it into the appropriate part of Kaer Mohren?
so real, I really hope that these kind of mods will be created !! restore kaer morhren would be so fire, or be able to visit the whole city of vizima from white orchard and more...
Would love to somehow have the Vizima outskirts from the beginning of the first game and White Orchid interconnected since you can see Vizima already in the base game in White Orchid.
Hopefully in the future it would be possible to add all the regions from the previous games to turn it into the ultimate open world experience. Vizima, La Vallete, Flotsam, Vergen, Kaedweni camp and Loc Muinne all added to the Witcher 3 as locations.
Very nice mod and perfect idea to add this map to witcher 3. I have few questions: First will you create cemetery(which was in witcher 1) ? Second Will you end creating old castle, swaps nearby them, Raven cave and other locations in this map(In witcher 1 this was this place where you fight with Javed) ? Third will you think to create witcher 1 monster on witcher 3 ? Last one will you create quests in this map ?

edit: seems like every mod I tested crashed this, just works without any other mod
edit: crashes without mods too 9/10 times
