Tested on next gen the second version of the mod, sometimes it works, sometimes not. Not so sure especifically what triggers the blood on the next gen, it appers to be random. Of course this is related to the scripts since it is a 1.32 version.

According to Next-Gen Patch Changelog 1.32 vs 4.04, there is only CEvaluatorFloatConst #10 that increase the value from 7 to 60. I don't know if that matters most, but it seem it's greatly Next Gen Compatible.
ElementaryLewis from what I have tested here on next gen, the blood is not consistent, sometimes taking damage shows the blood, sometimes not, sometimes it shows for a longer period, sometimes not.
Seems to be very random, but it is better than vanilla, changed somehow my playthrorgh in terms of immersion.

yeah, I got a lot of merges of scripts, textures, and bundles. A lot of them my personal edit too. I dont know if I can go through the tedious process again lol. The only thing Im missing on NExt gen is the new dlc netflix armor quest. But I got the game on the PS5, I'll just play there.
Unless a groundbreaking mod will be made for next gen, Im staying on classic.

yeah spent hundreds of hours modding v1.32, next gen version doesn't really bring enough to the table to switch over. The only thing that could maybe possible make me move to next gen version is the newly release RedKit.
