This mod aims at removing the black bars when playing Gwent.
In addition to this, I sped up the animations so they run at 48 FPS instead of the default 24 FPS. Therefore, the animations will run faster, but smoother. If your max refresh rate is not a multiple of 48, there will be some stuttering; otherwise it will be buttery smooth. I've also included in the optional files other animation rate for other refresh rates.
Eventually, as I am awful at image editing, the Gwent board will not look very nice on the sides.
If you use Smooth GUI, put my mod in higher priority.
If one of you knows how to do a better job, I provide the original board image in the mod archive, and you can do a better editing, so that I can include it in the mod. You will be, of course, credited in the mod.
If you want another framerate for the mod, I can change that pretty easily, so do not hesitate to ask in the comments!
The mod IS compatible with the 1.31/1.32 versions of the game in addition to the next gen version.
