Thanks a lot, it would be nice to put this on pcgamingwiki, ultrawide fix. Is it possible to make it compatible with the Gwent Opponent Names And Portraits mod?
Thanks for your feedback! I could definitely suggest it on pcgamingwiki indeed. I must take a look at these mods to check if we could make a compatible version, but I think it might be possible!
is the board (and maybe the card back covers) in png or similar format? i can try to help you making them look nicer if you send me the vanilla files and the correct size needed, if you want of course.
always wanted to replace the ugly card cover with the official gwent covers if that is technically possible
The game uses a .DDS format embedded into a .redswf file, but I can work with any lossless image format, such as PNG. I have put the original board image into a .png format in the mod folder, so if you download the mod and go to the "content" folder you should be able to find it!
Then, concerning the size, it does not matter as I can adapt it as I want. You should be able to replace the cover without any issue, I can put any image into the .redswf file.
i wasn't sure how to share the files, so here is a wetransfer link:

it includes the improved board, plus the card back covers (from gwent the card game) for the 5 decks (in case you can implement them...happy to create a version with a different aspect ratio if necessary)
Thanks a lot for your work, I'll include the board in the mod as soon as I have access to my personal PC, and I'll definitely look into implementing all your work. I cannot guarantee when it'll be done, but as fast as I can!
Hello, I have a question, is it possible to somehow combine your mod and Gwent Redux - Patch for Vladimir’s interface (https://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/5256?tab=files) so that the playing field is like yours in fashion?
Hi! It should be possible, however, VladimirUI is so much different than the base game UI that VladimirUI files should be edited in order for it to have ultrawide support.
Hi! If your refresh rate is 180Hz and you do not limit the frame rate, the gui will probably run at the max frame rate, especially Gwent, so I recommend you to use the 60 FPS version as 180 is a multiple of 60!
This is a bit specific but is there anyway to keep the ultrawide gwent layout but remove the frame rate increase? I can get a little motion sick from time to time so that's why I want to find a way to keep the lower default frame rate.

1) 3440*1080 (vanilla height)
2) 3440*1440 (standard ultrawide 21:9)

The game uses by default a 16/9 picture, but I can change the ratio freely so I'll see what's best for the engine!
any update on this?
no rush, just checking :)
