I'm willing to update any old/outdated mods on Next Gen 4.04, upon those rules:
- No overhaul or huge mods, such Ghost Mode, Vladimir UI or Geralt Doppler. - I can only edits scripts, bundled text (xml and csv), and redcloth, w2scenes, w2ent, w2mesh, etc... I can't modify texture, sound or redsfw. - Will always be Brothers in Arms compatible. - Once the update tested and working, I will send the updated mod to the original author via Direct Message. - I only ask my name in the credits, no DP asking. - But if I got no answer less than 7 days, I will publish by myself and give 50% DP to the author.
There is currently an issue where Spell Tome have missing name and description because it doesn't have all language available. There is two advise I can give:
- Navigate to dlcTome/content and copy "en.w3strings" to your tongue mother, for example Simplified Chinese is "zh.w3strings". This will fix the missing description but you'll get English text instead.
- Or... translate Spell Mod in a separate translation page.

Is it possible to equip them in a pocket slot instead of a trophy slot? I mean, is there a way I can edit a certain script or file so these books are read by the game as "a pocket slot"?
Thanks for porting this!! Quick question on Aard. I was looking in the signProjectile file to see the damage scaling and I noticed that there isnt a section for the shockwave ability outside of using Mutagen6 or one of the two tomes. Am I missing somthing? Basically I am wondering if aard shockwave without a tome works, or if it double dips with a tome equiped.
tomes is bugged with holding a torch, more specifically the quen regen tome is. if u cast the tome in combat u cannot equipt ur torch until u use another ordinary spell.
yes sir edit: there is also an issue when in combat using the quen regen buff will not trigger while in combat, but always out of. but sometimes it works in combat no idea what is wrong with that one.
ur welcome and happy new years! have an unrelated issue with johnny missing his hair, since its been a while ive modded witcher 3, im unaware what mod could cause johnnys hair to be bald ish he still has his flat 2d hair.
I went testing them and they work as should be. Reinstall the DLC folder of the original Spell Tomes, then the Mods folder of the Next Gen Spell Tomes. Don't forget to run Script Merger.

I'll add the second mod in the list. By the way, Mutation skills are unlocked on New Game Plus. The first mod is... delicate... since FCR3 is integrated to Next Gen for which rework those skills.

I fixed the effects issue. But the Axii one remains. I always get this error. I tried using lines from only Tomes, only W3, both, merging them manually but still get this in the end.

Hello, thanks for the mod. i installed it correctly (DLC from old mod and the mod folder from the new mod ) and bought Rimfrost trophy from an alchemist , but when i added the trophy and casted my AArd nothing happened and it was the same original aard spell. am i missing something?
I was just wondering at what Point to these Items start appearing In-game? I'm fairly sure I have this installed Correctly. I Have No Errors etc.
I'm just starting to deal with the "Bloody Baron" in Velen and I've not come across these Spell Tomes yet. I don't know if it's because I haven't stumbled across them yet, but I've looted plenty and interacted with a fair few Shop Owners and these items don't seem to be appearing.

Those command written in the original mod will work as well. You can try getting the tome you're looking for. That just mean the mod is correctly installed, so you could find different tomes in the open world.
But is there a certain Line you add Before the Spell Tome Command Name? I've tried "add item" then a Spell Tome Command but nothing shows up in my inventory.
Sorry to bother you, But would you perhaps be able to Port this "Geralt Face Mod" for Next Gen? The Author Mentioned something about Updating it for Next-Gen but unfortunately it hasn't happened.
