Unfortunately, due to the present circumstances at hand, I am no longer going to be able to provide an update for this mod or any of the various other game mods for The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt.
Thank you all for consistently choosing to support this release of the mod for The Witcher 3, and any of the other game mods that I have released on the Nexus for The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt.
1. Make sure to extract the mod to "The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt Install Directory\content\patch0\bundles" directory where the patch.bundles file is located.
2. Then try to run the "InstantKillRune.bat" file.
I got it to work. it was my backup bundles interfering with the process. had it in a different folder in the bundles directory. moved it out of the game files entirely. it seems the installation bat file does a search of subfolders. thanks
I have success rewriting and working script in 1.07. But when i install Weight mod, Instant kill rune script stop working. Everything becomes big mess again.
I realize that some people are having some file size compatibility issues. So, I took the time to sift through the file contents and make a few corrections with the file size remaining inconsistent. Please download the new file, and install it as usual. That should fix all of your errors and the mod will work as intended.
Maybe you could alter one or two other runes to give extra percentage on chance of critical hit and/or critical hit bonus. That would be awesome. I cannot count the amount of times I found a great sword but sold it because the +damage it caused more than my actual one compared to critical hit bonus wasn't enough. My chance of hitting a critical hit is over 30%, so I hit a critical one every third hit and with a sword that grants 75% critical hit bonus it packs a pretty heavy punch even if the damage is lower than for instance the new found sword.
A crit % chance rune was my first thought, but I did not decide to release the mod for various reasons. Do you have any specific rune(s) in mind that you want to see substituted for a crit % chance rune?

When do you see yourself being able to update this mod to support 1.08.2 and ng+ ?

. it stopped working for NGP.

They're all 5% with no way to upgrade.
I must first load very old save, then come back to main save.
In that case, there is no rune vanish.
Everything becomes big mess again.
And i will need someone to confirm if script work.
