    Unfortunately, due to the present circumstances at hand, I am no longer going to be able to provide an update for this mod or any of the various other game mods for The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt.

    Thank you all for consistently choosing to support this release of the mod for The Witcher 3, and any of the other game mods that I have released on the Nexus for The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt.

    Feel free to use the mod files as you please.

    Thril1, quick question for you:

    When do you see yourself being able to update this mod to support 1.08.2 and ng+ ?

      Uninstall your game, then Install new, fresh game and then install only 1.08 patch. Problem solved.

    any chance for this mod to be updated for a the NGP
    . it stopped working for NGP.

      At this current time, I have not had the chance to work on any of The Witcher 3 files. The mod will be updated when I have time.

    I cant get this mod to work. The batch files returns a 0% files transfer result. thanks

      Hello pchefkent.

      1. Make sure to extract the mod to "The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt Install Directory\content\patch0\bundles" directory where the patch.bundles file is located.

      2. Then try to run the "InstantKillRune.bat" file.

      I got it to work. it was my backup bundles interfering with the process. had it in a different folder in the bundles directory. moved it out of the game files entirely. it seems the installation bat file does a search of subfolders. thanks

    what happened to the 15% instant kill and critical and so on ?

    They're all 5% with no way to upgrade.

      You need to download the Enhanced Runes Mod for the 15% variations.

    I have vanish rune problem
    I must first load very old save, then come back to main save.
    In that case, there is no rune vanish.

      Do I need to re-install the game? and then to install Deadly rune on a fresh installation?

      Are you using the updated main file for "Instant Kill Rune Plus Deadly Runes 1.07" with game version 1.07?

      I have success rewriting and working script in 1.07. But when i install Weight mod, Instant kill rune script stop working.
      Everything becomes big mess again.

      The file has been updated in the Nexus. Try to use the Weight Mod with the new update for the Instant Kill Rune Mod.

    And i will need someone to confirm if script work.

    Instant Kill Rune does not work in 1.07.

    Hello everyone.

    I realize that some people are having some file size compatibility issues. So, I took the time to sift through the file contents and make a few corrections with the file size remaining inconsistent. Please download the new file, and install it as usual. That should fix all of your errors and the mod will work as intended.

      Maybe you could alter one or two other runes to give extra percentage on chance of critical hit and/or critical hit bonus. That would be awesome. I cannot count the amount of times I found a great sword but sold it because the +damage it caused more than my actual one compared to critical hit bonus wasn't enough. My chance of hitting a critical hit is over 30%, so I hit a critical one every third hit and with a sword that grants 75% critical hit bonus it packs a pretty heavy punch even if the damage is lower than for instance the new found sword.

      A crit % chance rune was my first thought, but I did not decide to release the mod for various reasons. Do you have any specific rune(s) in mind that you want to see substituted for a crit % chance rune?

      Well, maybe the poisonous ones? I don't see much use for them anyway

      I replaced the stagger effect with crit %. I figured some assassin types would want to use poisonous runes.

      Good point. Maybe you could also alter Perun runestone to give critical damage bonus? That would be awesome!!!

      Added an optional file that includes all 3 of the new rune effects in the mod.
