Well, logically bleeding should be included in DoT but apparently it isn't. Here is a little explanation of how I "separated" damage types:
-DoT damage includes IsDoTDamage() function ...which apparently doesn't include bleeding (while poisoning and DoT e.g. from Igni works) -crossbow / sign / fist damage / (both damages received from enemies) seems to be working completely alright -and then there is "main" damage (Player damage) which includes remaining damages (I didn't specified this to something like weapon damage only etc).
Yet if you set sign dmg to 0% and DoT dmg to 5000%, then DoT from Igni won't be applied until you increase sign damage to at least 5%.
Can you add fist damage to non-human? I know it's a bit silly to ask this question because it's like throwing away the silver sword. But sometimes I want to put away my sword and just kill monsters with my bare hands and sign magic. Anyway, your mod is great.
The damage we get from frost/blizzard when travelling to the Elves world and in the painting quest in HoS: The mod somehow thinks of it as "Damage from monsters". Can you seperate it as "Environmental damage" or something? I increased the "damage from monsters" to make DM harder, but it also made frost to deplete entire health in mere seconds. It's unplayable unless I reduce "damage from monsters" manually while doing that part of the quest.
I dunno how to share save files I'm new to all this lol. Also, I'm way past those quests. Btw it's actually not that big an issue. You get frost/blizzard exclusively in these 2 quests only I guess.
Anyone reading this, it's actually a very good mod. Gives a lot of flexibility in damage given and taken. No conflicts after merging and fully updated for 4.04. OP has done a great job. I'm just pointing out a little flaw that affects your experience negligibly.
hi, can you tell me, look, I did everything according to the manual, the script manager did not detect any errors, checked the location of the files, downloaded the mod successfully. But I just don't have such sliders in the settings, I looked at everything, there is nothing anywhere. Can you tell me what I could have done wrong?
could it be because I have russian launge in the game?
Did you install mod with TW3 Mod manager? Do you see MODS menu in the game (default location is in OPTIONS) - there should be Extended Damage Sliders submenu if the mod is installed properly: 1) modExtendedDamageSliders.xml file is here: ...\The Witcher 3\bin\config\r4game\user_config_matrix\pc\ 2) this for next gen only: line "modExtendedDamageSliders.xml;" is added in both dx11filelist.txt + dx12filelist.txt files placed in the folder above too
What is your game version? If you followed properly points 1+2 from my previous post and it didn't work then idk. Yet you can try Menu Filelist Updater tool (just if you have NG version!) to update dx11/12filelist.txt files automatically.
Which version did you install? Did you check if modExtendedDamageSliders.xml file is in this folder: ...\The Witcher 3\bin\config\r4game\user_config_matrix\pc\
Silly question: When I set a slider to 100, does this mean that I deal 100% damage, basically the normal damage? Or that I deal 100% MORE damage, basically doubling the damage?
Sliders are equal to [%] values so the slider set e.g. to 100 is 100% of the damage (i.e. Vanilla). Yet there are three presets in the mod menu and the first one is "ORIGINAL" = it sets all the values to 100 (i.e. Vanilla).
It seems the settings wasn't set properly in your installation - did you install the mod with TW3 Mod Manager? Anyway the fix should be just go to the settings menu and set sliders to the right (above "0" value) or just simply click on Default preset.
Для тех у кого не работает, не появляется в меню, и т.д. . Копируете вручную файлы, прописываете в файлах dx11filelist.txt + dx12filelist.txt вот эту строку modExtendedDamageSliders.xml . I installed that mod for v4.00 then i had a problem . Mod's name is not displayed in Option but i still hit it (it's transparent) .Then all attribute lines start with '#' sign . Can anyone help me fix that error ? I also added "modExtendedDamageSliders.xml" to dx12filelist but it doesn't work .
This mod is for the latest game version (4.03) - I am not sure it will work properly in 4.00. Anyway what is your ingame language (there can be missing some .w3strings file in your mod folder etc)?
THIS mod? Anyway translation files are those ending with .w3strings in here: modExtendedDamageSliders\content\ You can try this: copy and rename en.w3strings to vn.w3strings if this helps.
Hi, great mod, use it on 1.31. Does someone know how to fix ##_option_ between sections of the mod menu?
Edit: i solved it by removing SEPARATOR lines from xml file until I figure out better solution. :) Thanks for the mod, this solves (non)human / monster imbalance damage dealt to Geralt. Endorsed.

1) modExtendedDamageSliders.xml file is here: ...\The Witcher 3\bin\config\r4game\user_config_matrix\pc\
