1. You must use Script Merger. You can't use many script mods without this tool. It allow to merge and set load order so you can play the game for max 200 mods.
2. This mod can only be used if you have updated your game since 6th June 2024. If you got the "Unexpected '@'" error. UPDATE YOUR GAME!! AND DISABLE ANY BETA VERSION
3. This mod use "Script Annotation" ! Meaning it affect some script without directly touching it. That make it friendly mergeable where you won't see the mod in Script Merger.
4. If you got a merged conflict (big windows full of code). Please say which mods are in conflict and I will tell you how to solve the merge conflict or if a compatibility patch is required.
5. If you got an "error compilation" despite all the previous step. Please say which mods are in conflict and I will rework this mod. Probably have to make a compatibility patch.
Menu Problem
1. You must use Menu Filelist Updater You can't have the configuration setting mod without doing manually or with this tool. It allow to add the mods menu setting in a single double-click.
2. If you don't have the configuration setting. Either you didn't use Menu Filelist Updater, run in a wrong place, or you forgot to install the "Bin" part.
3. If the menu works but has weird text like ##option. Either you forgot to install the "Mods" part, or the translation is incorrect [my mistake]. Please confirm in which language you play.
4. If the mods setting list is bugged (you cannot click the correct setting). Install Community Patch Menu String and follow carefully the description. I suggest to download the optional file for CP Menu String, but you still have to fix for the other mods.
Be cool. I'll need a screenshot of your mods folder so I can see if that was correctly installed. Which lever are you? Did you try to change the setting manually rather than assign preset?
I've got all my merge issues solved, ensured I have the next gen versions of all mods, etc. but this one's stumped me. I'm getting the @ error but I'm on version 4.04. :c I'm unsure what disabling 'beta version' means, do you mind elaborating?
And just in case its a compatibility issue, here's my current mod list:
Lore Friendly Silver Swords - Ciri and Geralt's swords Friendly HUD Friendly Meditation Preparations Brothers in Arms TW3 HD Reworked Project The Wolf Medallion - thin streak Glowing Witcher Eyes Increased Creature Loot - plus Slots Slots Slots
Simply open Steam, GOG or Epic Games, from where you bought the game. Then open the propriety of the game, find the Beta option and disable it. Then ask the app to update the game and always auto update.
Ah, that may be an problem! I have a pirated copy. As much as I think CDProjekt deserves my money I often just don't have the cash for games.🫠 I'm starting to get wonder if that's the source of my issues... c':
I say this cause when I took better leveling off, instead of finally launching the game found a shitload of other issues? Including ones about improper porting of C++ code and console recognition, that I remember merging and swore I merged right. Script merger found like no conflicts with some when I remerged so I was super confused. I haven't been able to play for like a week cause of my modding fails, so instead of digging through the problematic merged files for the millionth time, I just mixed and matched all my mods one by one, the only ones it seems to wanna launch with are:
TW3 HD Reworked Project (The grass textures looked kind of fucked up though so I uninstalled it in the end lol) The Wolf Medallion - thin streak Glowing Witcher Eyes Increased Creature Loot - plus
Kinda bummed out because I started this whole process for the Friendly HUD/Meditation mods and Slots/XP mods, and they ended up being the ones that refuse to work even individually? I'm thinking I should just cut my losses till I can afford the game... 😭
Put in witcher 3 directory. ran Script Merger and Menu Filelist Update. latest game updates. The mod window doesnt show in game. how do I get the window to show?????????????
I don't have a video, but I suggest you read The Tome of Witcher 3 Modding and Essential Mods List so you know how to mod. Hopefully you'll get it. If any trouble, reach me on Discord so I'll teach you the basic step.

i installed the mod midgame at level 39, i set the settings of the mod to give me 2 points for each level starting at level 30 finishing with level 90, but i didnt revieve those 18 points (39-30=9 lol), im assuming when i reach level 40 it is going to give me 2 points instead of 1 but what about the 9 levels that i have passed? is there something i need to do to get those points? i hope i explained it well.
Thank you this was exactly the kind of mod I was looking for endorsed it right away! Unlocking BaW mutations was a pain in the vanilla leveling...I also appreciate that you gave plenty of choices to go about this with the configuration settings and to anyone thinking about or wanting to install this do it via the Witcher Mod Manager it takes 2 seconds and it is the safest way, the manual install is a bit tricky so it is easier to make mistakes and that can cause issues in your game.
I'm not sure if I did something wrong or not. I put the bin folder where it was supposed to go. I made a mods folder and dropped only the mods file (Not the bin) in it.
Then I ran Menu File List and ran script merger (Didn't find any conflicts) and ran the game and... well, this, happened.
You didn't install correctly, remove the mod. You don't have to create "Mods" folder and put its "Mods" within "Mods" folder. All you have to do is putting in the game's directory, per say in the instruction, exactly where there are Bin, Content, DLC and Mods folder.
Sorry. I kinda just went with what the Doc told me.
Alright then. I deleted the mod from the Mods folder. deleted the XML file from the Bin, then unzipped the download and placed the entire folder in the main directory. Again checked for merges, and updated the filelist after a fresh mod install.
This time the mod menu isn't really there. The game is just showing it's normal unaltered menus.
Read the sticky post. It's now the "Bin" folder being incorrectly installed. Please follow the instruction. Either you learn how to install manually (not everything should be drop in "Mods" folder), or you use Witcher 3 Mod Manager.
Installed via manager and the menus started working.
Sorry about the trouble. I just sometimes get confused when reading instructions. I tried following them so I could do it manually, I just confused myself in the process.

I suggest you remove them and use Auto Take All instead, which I recommend the most.
