2. This mod only affect the two scripts "guiTooltipComponent.ws" and "playerWitcher.ws". Nothing else! If the error is from another script, then the problem is from another mod. Run Script Merger to find it.
3. This mod can only be merged to Next Gen 4.04 mod, updated since at least 19th July 2023. If not in conflict, then make sure they are "Next Gen Compatible", if confirm to work on 4.04!
4. If you got a merged conflict (big windows full of code). Please say which mods are in conflict and I will tell you how to solve the merge conflict or if a compatibility patch is required.
5. If you got an "error compilation" despite all the previous step. Please say which mods are in conflict and I will rework this mod. Probably have to make a compatibility patch.

Menu Problem
1. You must use Menu Filelist Updater You can't have the configuration setting mod without doing manually or with this tool. It allow to add the mods menu setting in a single double-click.
2. Menu Filelist Updater don't open anything. And that's normal! This tool works as intended. Don't worry if nothing happen when you run it.
3. If you don't have the configuration setting. Either you didn't use Menu Filelist Updater, run in a wrong place, or you forgot to install the "Bin" part.
4. If the menu works but has weird text like ##option. Either you forgot to install the "Mods" part, or the translation is incorrect [my mistake]. Please confirm in which language you play.
5. If the mods setting list is bugged (you cannot click the correct setting). Install Community Patch Menu String and follow carefully the description. I suggest to download the optional file for CP Menu String, but you still have to fix for the other mods.
I wonder if you can give some Script Merger advice. I updated the "The Essential Weapon Rework Mod - NEXT GEN Compatible" mod and there is a lot of diff complaints to handle between this mod and that: A, B or C or perhaps both. Do you want me to give some examples? I can delete the merges and redo them.
If you have edit Essential Weapon Rework to your own taste, then you get the ability to merge manually the bundled text. You don't need Script Merger anymore.
I'm sure it's a problem on my end, would love to get some input on how to fix it. I add this mod, run script merge, no problems. However when I try to launch the game I get the following error.

You're using outdated mod on 4.04. Make sure they confirm to work on Next Gen 4.04 in the description, mod files, post. Or was updated since 19th July 2023.
I think your misunderstand the mod. This is not an "Auto Upscale" mod. It doesn't scale automatically to your level, nor each time you craft or add in inventory. Simply the swords will level up each time you level up. For example, you have Sword lvl 40 and Geralt is lvl 63, when Geralt level up to 64, the sword will level up to 41.

I've got the yellow text saying my sword scales with my character lvl 61, but it's still stuck at lvl 40. I'm using the Grand master wolf silver and steel sword. I'll try to craft a new one to see if it scales. I selected all to enabled in the menu. I'm not sure why this is.

The yellow text will still be there if you set "On" for the sword category. And the damage change only if have the sword in your inventory and you level up at the same time (sword in stash won't level up).
I see. Yeah, my steel sword has leveled a few times, but my silver one hasn't. Both are equipped. Does the silver not level as freqent as the steel sword?
Strange. My steel sword damage has leveled a few times, but never my silver. I'm using the grandmaster wolven silver sword. As well as the full grandmaster wolven set.
I look about it and indeed, the silver sword didn't scale up in normal game (New Game Plus worked and it was there I test it). I immediately updated the mod to fix it. Thanks for the report.

I don't know a mod for your request, but I recommend Grindstone and Workbench Level Up Items instead.
But they can't level up if they were put in Stash.
