    REQUEST OPEN!!
I'm willing to update any old/outdated mods on Next Gen 4.04, upon those rules:

    - No overhaul or huge mods, such Ghost Mode, Vladimir UI or Geralt Doppler.
    - I can only edits scripts, bundled text (xml and csv), and redcloth, w2scenes, w2ent, w2mesh, etc...
I can't modify texture, sound or redsfw.
    - Will always be Brothers in Arms compatible.
    - Once the update tested and working, I will send the updated mod to the original author via Direct Message.
    - I only ask my name in the credits, no DP asking.
    - But if I got no answer less than 7 days, I will publish by myself and give 50% DP to the author.

    Check Trello requested list.

Check if "modAutoWinGwent" is correctly inside "Mods" folder.
Not next to Bin, DLC, Content. Nor inside "Mods" withing "Mods" folder.

Sorry for being a noob, but just how do you install this? People talk about TW3MM and Vortex or nothing. A simple guide would do. I don't want any other mod than this and I appreciate the effort, but may I kindly ask for a simple install instruction?

Even if you're a noob, there is three golden rules here:

      • Read the description
      • Don't use Vortex
      • And if problems, give all details you have

If you did the Rule 1, you would notice in the install instruction there is a linked guide for you
If you did the Rule 2, you won't have any problems when installing mods and you even get better if you use Witcher 3 Mod Manager and slowly learn how to install manually.
If you did the Rule 3, everyone will help you whatever problems you have.

Not a problem. I followed your rules and it has saved me a lot of unnecessary time. I appreciate your effort a lot. I had a follow up question though, about if you can disable the mod at times to be able to collect/buy cards and not break any quests. If you would care to reply to that, I would be grateful. If not, I am grateful all the same.

You're asking whether you want to play Gwent or not?
There is another mod for that called "No Time for Gwent", where you can win the game whenever you want.
The mod here was simply made for Gwent hater player.

True enough. I am a Gwent hater. My point was just that it has the side effect of not being able to put any cards in your decks either, meaning you will miss a few quests. But thanks for the tip. I will look into it. I just don't understand how you uninstall this mod and replace it with another. Will you not break your saves or something if you just delete it from the mods library? Yeah, I am a noob, and anyone may answer.

You can actually change your deck before you start the Gwent minigame.
To uninstall mod, simply refer to the instruction for how to remove it.
This mod won't break your current playthrough, but it's best to check in the description if a warning was written about it.

Thanks, I really really really HATE GWENT, but want the Achievements

Can you enable the "DOWNLOAD WITH MOD MANAGER" button?
This looks like it's properly packaged for Vortex

      No. Don't use Vortex.
Do manually or with Witcher 3 Mod Manager.

Vortex worked and works just fine and the Mod ZIP itself, is packaged PERFECTLY for vortex to use, as the paths and folder structure works.
I've been using it since it was in Alpha, and spent 2 years helping out in the Vortex Support Forums.
The "gwintGameMenu.ws" file is right where it's supposed to be in the Vortex Mod Staging Folder, and the Symlink puts it where it should be in the Witcher 3 Wild Hunt GOTY\Mods\  folder, and the game recognizes the mod, because I was able to win all of the tedious Gwent games and finish the Velen, Novigrad, and Innkeeper Gwent Quests.

Whatever Vortex manage properly or not. I won't turn on for this mod because it's not designed for this game without telling there is problem.
So take this as exception and install with Witcher 3 Mod Manager or manually.

The way you force your personal opinion of Vortex on other people is just terrible. The mod works perfectly fine with Vortex and I manage dozens of other Witcher 3 mods with Vortex, which also works perfectly. You're just being difficult blocking the official mod manager from the site where you host the mod... Let other people decide for themselves.

You don't know how many times I help people for their problem because of Vortex.
If they use Vortex to install my mods without any problem. Then it's fine and I won't complain about it!

But I will never turn on the "Use Vortex" and always promote Witcher 3 Mod Manager or the manual way. For my sake and support that everyone won't have the need to ask help.

Ok, I see your point. And sorry for being unnecessarily rude in my previous response. I guess I was having a bad day. Thanks for the work you do on many mods, some not even your own.

As I was saying, as long as a mod is properly packaged, Vortex Works just fine.
I helped out in the Vortex Support section of the main forums for over two years, and have a good working knowledge of Vortex.
I 56 active mods in the Witcher 3, and 54 of those are installed with Vortex, including some of your Mods and Brothers In Arms.
      Vortex works just fine.
The problems that people are having, is that they don't know how to properly use Vortex, or have set up Mod Staging Folder, or Deployment Method wrong. but most likely, they are installing Mods, where the modder has added their own version of the DX11filelist.xml, and DX12filelist.xml, that Vortex (Or ANY OTHER MOD MANAGER) would overwrite the original files and do away with all the other menu entries, which is actually the fault of the MODDER, and not Vortex, OR the mod is packaged incorrectly with an extra folder level so a mod manager would extract the folder structure incorrectly.

Witcher mod is so much easier to use and easier to renumber load orders since Script Merger is better integrated. This comes in especially handy to make sure you use the mod you actually want that are "Bundled Non-text - Not Mergeable" I often have 3-5 mods all touching the same file and you have to juggle priorities to make sure you have the right ones working. With Witcher 3 Mod Manager I can run script merger and then reset the priority numbers and refresh script merger and instantly see the results. Sometimes simpler is better especially for beginners because there is virtually no setup with Witcher 3 Mod Manager other than pointing it to the game EXE and the  Script Merger EXE. No need to mess around with staging folders and Symlinks at all which makes it considerably more noob friendly

I currently have 139 mods and I shudder to think about trying to set the proper priorities in Vortex and I have a lot of experience with Witcher 3 Mod manager, Vortex and MO2 for Skyrim

I downloaded the script merge and put the mod in a folder typed 'mods'. The program detects that there is one mod. But when I refresh it- it won't appear.

    Bottom right side says ' found 1 mod, 1 script, 0xmls, 0 bundles '

Script Merger may be indispensable when modding the game, it is useless if you use one single mod.

Okay what kind of other mods should I try to use in order to make this mod work? Sorry this is my first time using this program.

Huh?! But it's totally fine to play the game with one single mod.
Script Merger is indispensable only if you use many mods.

Don't worry at all if you wish to play the game as vanilla as possible but not Gwent.

Every time I try to install the mod (through TW3MM) my game doesn't even launch, I only get a script compilation error even tho there are no conflicts in script merger.

W3MM perfectly install the mod without error compilation in my end.
The problem is likely cause by another mod. Such for example you use Classic 1.32 mod on Next Gen 4.02.
For that, the solution is to install only updated mod since 2th February, or 20th December if they confirm to work on 4.01/4.02.
