Getting this every time I try to compile scripts with this mod.

Error [moddarkernightsngeenhanced]game\r4game.ws(644): Could not find function 'SetRealHoursPerMinutesDN'
Error [moddarkernightsngeenhanced]game\r4game.ws(760): Cannot call private function 'CheckDayNightCycle' in class 'CR4Player' here.
Error [moddarkernightsngeenhanced]game\r4game.ws(766): Cannot call private function 'CheckDayNightCycle' in class 'CR4Player' here.
Error [moddarkernightsngeenhanced]game\r4game.ws(1124): Could not find function 'DeactivateDN'
Error [moddarkernightsngeenhanced]game\gui\main_menu\ingamemenu.ws(2165): Could not find function 'UpdateValuesDK'
Error [moddarkernightsngeenhanced]game\player\states\unconscious.ws(153): Cannot call private function 'CheckDayNightCycle' in class 'CR4Player' here.
Warning [modsharedimports]engine\environment.ws(30): Global native function 'EnableDebugOverlayFilter' was not exported from C++ code.
Warning [modsharedimports]engine\environment.ws(32): Global native function 'EnableDebugPostProcess' was not exported from C++ code.
Warning [content0]engine\showflags.ws(11): Global native function 'DebugSetEShowFlag' was not exported from C++ code.

This issue seems to be in relation to merging this mods scripts with any mod. Doing so results in compilation errors, regardless of script merger saying that it merged the scripts with zero conflicts. Not sure what is causing this, but I tried merging the scripts of two other mods that share the same edited script as this one, and those two worked just fine. It is only when merging this one that the error seems to occur.

I keep getting content0 errors when compiling scripts that say "Auto Oil" as well as this:

content0]engine\environment.ws(30): Global native function 'EnableDebugOverlayFilter' was not exported from C++ code.
Warning [content0]engine\environment.ws(32): Global native function 'EnableDebugPostProcess' was not exported from C++ code.
Warning [content0]engine\showflags.ws(11): Global native function 'DebugSetEShowFlag' was not exported from C++ code.

My modDarkerNights folder is in the Mods directory correctly, and I made the edit to the dx12filelist document to add the xml configuration.

It seems theres some kind of conflict/s but my script merger doesnt pick anything up and I have messed with the load orders a bit without success. Any advice?

    Hi,
I previously had this issue but did a clean install again and attempted to install DN last (because I know this mod breaks the game). I use Friendly Meditation v0.9.3. I've tried to re-merge the playerWitcher.ws without DN and with, but just getting no luck here. Hoping someone can help? Game version is v4.01 including the latest hotfix that didn't change the version.

"because I know this mod breaks the game"

Actually, it doesn't. Like at all. If it "breaks the game," it's user error. Please don't go around saying nonsense like this.

Sorry, I have no idea what you're trying to do.... You have conflicting scripts and need to combine them with Script Merger. I don't know what mods you have or what's conflicting. You need to open SM and ensure that you've properly merged everything. This is a merging error which means you have not properly combined all your scripts.

That's not actually possible lol. Are you sure you've got Witcher 3 Complete Edition (4.0) with the latest updates (hotfix 2)?

I mean, I don't care if you use this mod or not but the problem is that you're doing something wrong and it could probably easily be fixed. Your choice, though!

You just have to use Script Merger, everytime you Update, Remove, or Install MODS!

The mods works perfectly as long as you use Script Merger and don't use any Next Gen Incompatible mods.

Eh...they would rather claim the mod is the problem and delete it, so their loss I guess.

Well. What choice do i have when i already use script merge and it show no conflict, for hours trying to merge it manually but nothing, and then delete all my 20+ mod just to test this one, yet when launch it still getting this error. I'm sorry if I offend you before.

It's not a matter of offense, it just isn't possible. Mods aren't magic...they don't work for some people and not others. The mod itself is fine, so if it's not working then something is unfortunately wrong on your end. I'd love to be able to help you but I'm not sure what's happening on your side to cause the problem. If you have W3 4.0_Hotfix 2 and the newest version of this mod (1.2), it can't not work.

Can you confirm that you downloaded the new version of this mod and what language you're playing in?

Hi, i download Darker Nights Enhanced and also patch for Friendly Meditation. All script is merged, but after script compilation before game start, have this problem:

Error [moddarkernights]game\player\states\meditation\meditationwaiting.ws(75): Could not find function 'StopMeditation'

IDK what to do, every script is merged with no probpems and if i delete this function, game running, but i cant meditate and if yes, meditation dont stop.

I finally solved the problem by deleting the meditationwaiting.ws file. Meditation works and I don't see a problem. What exactly is this file for? Does this affect the mod in any way?

Having issues getting this to work.

First, I assume this mod has scripts that need to be merged?

For some reason when Nexus is running Script Merger it's not finding it, assume this has to be done manually perhaps?

All I have is a blank mod option in my my menu. When selected, it will bring be to various values, however, none of them actually do anything and looks bugged out.

Did you read the description and follow the directions? Script Merger won't show the DN scripts if it's not conflicting with anything else in your mod list. If the game loads, there are no script errors.

That's what I figured, trying to find the cause of this mod not working for me and cannot find a reason...

      Any ideas?

Again, I have new menu option in my mod menu, but it has no name and is blank. When selected it will take my to a list of values, that looks bugged out, and seem to do nothing?

I honestly did.. and followed the directions unless I and totally missing something.

      I added DarkerNights.xml; to dx12filelist.txt...

      Nothing needs to be merged....

Sorry. Feeling really dumb right now. Probably looking right at it.

      Respectfully, I did.

I only have one other mod in my mod menu, so I am way under the 10 limit.

I am using English, so I am guessing localization isn't the issue.

      Am I missing something?

In that case, I wish I could help but I genuinely don't know. Your problem sounds like one of those two issues, which have without fail been the answer to every other case. Did you try the menu strings patch just to be sure? I honestly can't think of any other reason you would have that issue. Can you try removing everything related to it and then reinstalling it from the beginning? Maybe something went amiss along the way. I unfortunately have no answers because I've never heard of that happening without it being related to one of the two issues mentioned in the description  :-(

How does it determine location? Does Witcher detect your country and it uses that? Or is it language setting in the game?

It's not about location, it's about the language setting. If you've got everything set to English, then it's in English. Although it shouldn't matter since the other strings were added. Do you have the most recent version? If you still can't get it, please DM me on discord and I'll try to help you figure it out.
