As you can see, on my PC there are no problems with under-reading the meshes for textures in Novigrad and SHADOW rendering from torches. MY PC is not the most powerful: AMD Ryzen 3700X CPU GPU RX 5700 XT Gigabyte X570UD 16gb ram 3600 cl16 Test max setting + mine Reshade! FHD DX12. ----------- Unfortunately, there are known and confirmed problems with loading texture meshes on RTX 4xxx series graphics chips. Probably need to wait for better drivers... Or, just NOT to use Detail Level setting more like Ultra+
----------- - who HAVE RTX 4000 GPU series and use ALWAYS max settings BUT u have MESHES problem in NOVIGRAD now u can use "Optional Extreme-Awesome setting W3 NG DX12 RTX 4000series"- for RTX 4000 GPU "Detail Level" Ultra+ is original game setting, because actual nvidia driver have problem with load meshes in Novigrad when players try use higher values... Recomended check "Extreme-Awesome setting W3 NG DX12 or Always MAX Extreme-Awesome setting W3 NG DX12" AFTER driver update.
I checked the mod and it's insane guys! Much higher LOD with this mod. Specially shadows and level of details into the distance.
Another fact that might intrests you: I think the things that are ray traced like reflections are bound to the draw distance setting. Means the higher you push this value the more things are beeing ray traced into the distance like reflections and shadows!
I don't know if this takes much more performance cause my card is too weak anyway for vanilla ray tracing but maybe some of you like this fact!
Didn't knew this too. It's very cool and we got t he ability to increace objectics into the distance beeing ray traced into the future!
Using 4070s and 7800x3d, I encountered CPU bottlenecks from time to time in Velen. The grass rendering distance was too far. This kind of micro-stuttering was unbearable. I saw many people mention it. It's better to lower it manually, using the settings in the file as a reference.
I've noticed there are certain bushes that seemingly aren't affected by the "foliage" or "LOD" settings in the graphics menu. Any way to increase those LODs as well?
Hello. I have problem with floating meshes in Toussaint (in Lice). Using the awesome preset. I have a 6700xt running on the NG 4.04. Also using Brother in arms optional lod and hd tree lod (i've also bad lods with trees cuting half on the top)
Can anybody please something for me, the lines below... All im interested in is to increse follige(GRASS only) the absolut MAX level possible.
How do i go about ONLY incresing Grass-drawdistance (foliage view distance)... Can anybody please explaine what the lines below actually mean/accomplish??
Have a solution for those who have statters in Velen when using this mod:
Open with notepad "graphics.xml", that u has put in The Witcher 3\bin\config\r4game\user_config_matrix\pc Find <!-- Foliage Visibility Range --> & set "GrassDistanceScale" value to 2.5 instead of 4.9, other settings no need to change
For example u has downloaded & installed 4. Optional Extreme-Awesome setting W3 NG DX12 & thats how your settings should look like:
Hello, im using 2. Extreme-Awesome setting W3 NG DX12 with a 58X3D / 4080, i got stutter every 2 secs, does anyone else got this issue? When i was in white orchard everything was alright, but when the main quest lead me to Velen the stutter appears..
Same issue in Velen with 5800X3D/4090 Tested in all 5 DX12 mods Statters still there even with 100+ fps in QHD Turned off DLSS2/3 & Resizable BAR doesnt help Game version 4.04 Win 11 Driver 536.67
Hello, here is any way someone have the 1v7 version of the mod and could share a link for downloading it? I m still in the 4.01 version of the game and a proper version of this mod could be an amazing thing to experience.

Ready for Game update 4.02!

I made a better comparison because in the previous people were right that it was too chaotic and poorly presented
Perfect mod!!! Works perfectly!
Please confirm if it’s fine with: Improved RT Reflections and Shadows From Scoutrb0
thx

Thanks for taking the time to read/answer :)

Tested in all 5 DX12 mods
Statters still there even with 100+ fps in QHD
Turned off DLSS2/3 & Resizable BAR doesnt help
Game version 4.04 Win 11 Driver 536.67
Whenever I try to change it, it keeps turning off on its own. I can't enable it.
