very nice mod thx.It only needs some 4K textures and a version with gray hair/eyebrows and it would be perfect. And a version without eyes would be good too
Hey so it seems that the mod no longer works. When I tried launching it from my steam deck after I used the launcher the game crashed back to the page. The mod might need to be updated.
Very well made already, but this update made it even better. :) I really like this more rugged and grumpy look. More in line with Geralt's book descriptions. Sadly I can't endorse it twice, but added some pictures instead.
The Bear had these great ideas. He made me actually like Geralt a bit. But we are glad to know our mod is liked by people. Thank you for the pictures, they are looking cool.
Usually, I like a gritty/brutal-looking Geralt, but this has got to be the best neutral/handsome Geralt that I have ever seen, ill use this on my second playthrough for sure.
Better in-game than in the intro screenshot. It is pale, moderately scarred, and has a distinctive feel.
The wanderer's eyes look a little gloomy. So I am using it by changing it to scary eyes. Wanderer Geralt + narrow pupil eyes So good. Thank you very much. :)
I love how instead of just being snow-white pale, he's almost jaundiced. I think it's a great intepretation of his lore-friendly palor than some of the 1.32 mods. He also looks quite grumpy and scary. Great work.
I just wanted to note that there is another excellent Geralt mod confirmed to work with NG/4.0+ called Geralt Remastered 4K. Under that mod's optional downloads, there is "Blaviken Mesh" and "Always Shaved" - these options also work with this mod!
I think Wanderer Geralt + Always Shaved + Blaviken Mesh gives the best "Witcher 1 Geralt updated for Next-Gen" look. If that's what you're going for, try it out... I think these mods go together like mashed potatoes and gravy! :D
