bruh.. as someone who watched the series before playing the game, even I can see and admit that it was a bad casting choice. The actress chosen to play Triss is simply the wrong fit. On the other hand, the girl playing Yennefer is a great actress and I think they pulled it off; it just works. However, I can see how people who read the books and/or played the game first can be attached or simply have a certain picture of these characters in their mind, especially when the author of the books himself who created them in the first place, has not only already decided on how they look and behave, but has also described them in great detail throughout his work. Not to mention the fact that CDPR already put their interpretation of the original content in their games as well and at least from what I understand (others can correct me if wrong), the game follows the books significantly more than the series does.
Speaking for myself, I imagine I'd be annoyed and bothered if it happened the other way around, too. Not everything is racism, and when people continue to pull that card so easily, it dilutes its power and most importantly it can make it worse for when people actually are experiencing racism.
Hey, this mod works fine on Triss but it makes Geralt's eyes black.
I also use "Triss Blue Eyes" and "Triss - Natural Colours" with this mod and they all work together on Triss, but Geral's eyes are effected for some reason.
I'd recommend changing the load order of your mods, I ran into a similar issue and it was HQfaces that had higher priority than AuburnHair which was causing the hair to go back to vanilla colour.
even though i gave this mod the highest priority and HQ Faces a lower or none priority this mod wouldn't load. same with Blue Eyes for triss. So i merged Blue Eyes and Auburn Hair mods via "Mod Merger" and gave the mergedfiles the higher priority over HQ faces and that for some reason worked.
Seriously, I can't believe not a single person has done a realistic auburn-red for the DLC hair, just like the color in this mod. I tried out the "Lore Triss" mod since it's the only one I could find that edits the DLC hair's color to not be firetruck red (http://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/741/?) ... but it comes out strangely black-brown dark sometimes, and other times has a dark blood-red sheen (which is neat, but not really what I was hoping for.)
