Sorry, I'm not really that capable when it comes to Witcher 3 Modding, I just grabbed this feature from The Witcher 3 - Redux because I found it so useful and wanted it in all of my playthroughs of the game.
It would be best to ask that mods author for such features, though he is currently taking a break from modding.
Thanks. This is exactly what I was looking for. I disabled POIs because I hated having a bunch of question marks littering the map, but I always wanted an in-game way to easily track down Places of Power.
The one notice board in White Orchard reveals all of the Places of Power because it's the only notice board in the area.
Velen/Novigrad, Skellige and Toussaint all have plenty of notice boards nowhere near any Places of Power so they won't all put new Places of Power on your map.
Too bad it only works when first time interacting with a notice board, makes it kind of useless unless starting a new game. Still, seems to work flawless as intended. :)
Yeah, wish I knew how to make it so it happens any time you interact with a Notice Board, but for now it's tied to the event where Notice Boards add points of interest to your map as ?'s, which sadly is a 1 time event.
