I followed instruction except don't know what kind of mod menu I need to find, if you could put the link of the mod menu that you use for this mod in the comments I'll be much appreciated.
Correction, it turns out it has an in-game mod menu and I'm a complete SmoothBrain, whoopise daisy. I just the need the menu filelist updater mod for it to work. my apologies.
Hi I am new to modding but I have extracted both mods and bin folder into my game directory, but nothing noteworthy has happened in game. game runs like normal as if the mod isn't there. i have run script merger but it doesn't detect anything, conflicts or anything else. Can someone please help explain where I might have messed up or if I need any other mods in order for this to work. I am on latest gen and only other mods I have downloaded are, instant mount horse missing card tracker over 9000 no fall damage stlm hd reworked project next gen.
Thanks for the suggestions, much better than the other ones, although im having a problem with the better vanilla lighting changes as when i put the dlc folder in my game files my saves don't load and it says im missing the required dlcs for that save {which also happens with most other mods i've tried that have a dlc folder} on the other hand i'm not sure what menu filelist updater is so i must not have. Again thanks for the help sorry if i'm being a pest.
I have not tested the new version of this mod, but I have an issue with this mod when it comes to use the mod Monster Hunt Challenge.
They do not conflict in terms of editing stuff in the same files, but when I now wanna do a Monster Hunt and pick up the notice from notice board, betting is only possible in the money range that is defined by Worthwhile Gwent. Is it possible, to make a compatibility version, or, even better or better said, a version update for Worthwhile Gwent where the money range for betting does not affect betting in general anymore in terms of allowing other mods to make changes to those money sliders, too?
Hmmm it’s something I can look into sure, I’m not familiar with that mod but I’ll take a look once I’ve released the next version of progress on the Path
i will say I find it strange that a monster hunt would be using the betting system and not the negotiations system like regular monster hunts.
Yes, it is a bit strange, as you said. But Monster Hunt Challenge works flawless with using the betting system, but you are right, normally it would make more sense with negotiation system. But when you have a look at Monster Hunt Challenge, you will also see, that somehow the betting system makes sense, too. As there are no real negotiations with someone for taking care of the moster you go on the hunt for.
I installed your Ghost Mode-compatible version. Not compatible. The r4Games.ws file does not merge well at all.
Error [mod0000_mergedfiles]game\r4game.ws(936): I dont know any 'rewardNameS' Error [mod0000_mergedfiles]game\r4game.ws(943): I dont know any 'rewardNameS' Error [mod0000_mergedfiles]game\r4game.ws(945): I dont know any 'rewardNameS'
I selected your edits where they were similar to Ghost Mode's, and included both where it seemed entirely different. I don't see how I am supposed to do it any different? Guess we'll have to wait for more people to report script merging problems.
Tried installing this mod for Ghost Mode as well and also got this error.

How is the Merge meant to go with Ghost Mode, when Ghost Mode removed a lot of the code where the 'Merge Conflicts' happen. I'll redo the merge and see what changes I can made and not just copy everything from this mod over.
I have been messing around with the merging, and how to merge. I went through and made every single line that doesn't match into a Conflict, a 'Delta' the script merger called it, so I could manually pick exactly which code gets copied. Copyed B the Merged/Ghost file for every single one that didn't involve this mod. Then added this mod's line over when it starts changing things.
It solved the "Error [mod0000_mergedfiles]game\r4game.ws(936): I dont know any 'rewardNameS' " Error, but Now I get a new one:
Error [mod0000_mergedfiles]game\r4game.ws(2487): Found unexpected '}'
You claim it works fine, but I just copied your code, into the file, as cleanly as possible, and get the error above. SOMETHING is wrong in your code. There is something YOU are doing, Mod Author, that is NOT NORMAL for Merging.
Make a Video, or a List, show us EXACTLY how you Merge the mod. Exactly which lines are to be copied over from the mod into the merged file.
That did the Trick. No conflicts, and Script Compiler went on fine with no errors. Thank you. -------
And sorry if my post above sounded very angry and agressive. It's just seemed like the code to merge was very simple and small, and yet I spent an hour on it, trying to make sense on why it wasn't working. And since code looks utterly jibberish to me, I had no idea what was wrong, or why, or how to fix it, nor how to search online how to fix it either, and script checkers weren't picking up any issues. Then another 2 hours after the post trying even more, but just couldn't make heads or tails out of what could be possible. So sorry about venting that anger at you in the post above.
Could it be, that in Toussaint Gwent-tournament the Ambassdor von Hinn aswell as Count Monnier are not included? I see an entry for the Gwent tournament in Toussaint, I assume, this is for completing the whole tournament in Toussaint. But there are no Count Monnier and Ambassador von Hinn entries. For the BaW, I think, they also need to be included as compared with High Stakes tournament I can see all players for that, but in terms of High Stakes I see no entry for completing this tournament.
So the tournament works slightly different to high stakes, you get a reward for beating the guy with the sword wager, then you get a reward for completing the tournament then another one for the dwarf.. Count Monnier and von Hinn don’t have rewards set up in the game code so there’s no quest ID to hook in the function to return the rewards, if it had any facts for those 2 games I could potentially check for them but I’d have ti play it first and debug the quest to get the facts (if they exist).
and I didn’t include extra rewards for high stakes in terms of winning the tournament, that’s an oversight on my part and I’ll get it added in
Alright, thanks for good explanation. Good, that you will add the missing High Stakes tournament reward for completing the quest.
Monnier and von Hinn: I do not remember the situation after the game against them exactly, so it might be as you said. But, I think, if we play the tournament again we will see what it turns out in the end.
Alright, just checked the Beauclair-Tournament, von Hinn and Monnier are not needed in your mod. So only the High Stakes Tournament itself for its completion.
no problem, looking at it, you are rewarded for beating each individual player.. but there us no vanilla reward for winningthe tournament as the quest stops being Gwent related and turns into a normal quest. I'll have to give this one some thought
No urgency, your explanation is right and shows, that there is no MUST in having a reward for winning the whole Tournament, as you said, the quest changes to a normal quest in the end.

- For No Fall Damage, use No Fall Damage (NEXT GEN).
- STLM is the worst lighting mod. I recommend either Better Vanilla lighting Changes or TookLightingMod (Next Gen).
And did you use Menu Filelist Updater?
on the other hand i'm not sure what menu filelist updater is so i must not have.
Again thanks for the help sorry if i'm being a pest.
