The bookshelf portion of this mod doesn't seem to work for me for some unknown reason. It just doesn't seem to change the appearance of the bookshelf at all, and according to the description it should be completely full because of how many books I have.
Maybe this is a bug because I installed this mod while in game I was in the middle of waiting for my house to finish renovating? I have no idea. No errors or anything. Nobody else is reporting the mod doesn't work for them either, a shame.
Does this need to be prioritized over some other mod? Script Merge/Mod Manager certainly didn't indicate any issues.
Are those books that you count actually in your inventory or only in the glossary bookslist? They have to be in your inventory and not to be a quest related book, at least that was cdpr-s intention originally.
Either way a new update is coming soon, which will look at the glossary and increases the amount of books counted by a selected amount of quest books, so stay tuned.
All in my glossary booklist in fact, as it sounds like you suspected. I thought that maybe this was the explanation for my empty shelves, but I wasn't sure because who wants to hold onto 100+ books in their inventory lol. I sell all my books/documents pretty rapidly so that they don't flood my inventory screen.
Looking forward to your update that will start to count the glossary too! Thanks.
I'd call that a success, thanks for your efforts friend!
However, I did see these messages which undoubtably can be attributed to this mod. Pretty minor issue, certainly won't stop me from enjoying your mod. I suspect this is a very easy fix.
I can reliably get the message "half_full" to appear in the bottom-left corner of the screen just after passing the front door and entering the house. It also seems to popup several times when moving throughout the bedroom/near the bedroom door:
came here because of this mod has been added to brothers in arms. i have the following issue:
Everytime i go near the bedroom in corvo bianco, i get a big message in the lower left corner telling me "full". i think it means, that my bookshelf is full but this message is really annoying and is constantly popping up while walking in the house. Is it intentional? can i disable it?
+1 - a fix for that would be good. The new version adds a script wihich includes notification entries and the status is shown always you are close to the bookshelf.
Thank you for reporting it! Sorry, it was my fault, I left the debug message in the code. It's fixed now. (and I sent the updated version to the Brothers In Arms team too)
Well... It is the world with magic, don´t think it is so critical, maybe it could be an "optionable"? So people who don´t like it won´t install it.. Could be more lore with "magic" animation, or maybe it would be possible to put dummy head in it? I don´t know how hard to realize that, so these are just suggestions... All i know, that i would like to see masks in there, no matter if they are floating or not :)
Well, the easiest way I can do this, if you have no helmets in the backpack then the menu would offer the masks, but if you have helmets, then it would only show helmets, and if none of them then it would start with armors. If you don't want to show either, but you have them, then start with putting the headgear on the stand, then remove the headgear after putting everything on. But that's just the menu.
I haven't actually checked if the masks would fit on the stands as it is, maybe they are sideways or something, then I can't help it.
If the menu is a good idea like that, then stay tuned, in a few days I'll test it out. I'm busy a bit, but I just wanted to update you with my ideas.
Hey, so I have bad news. The masks mount to the feet of the stand so there is no point to make them available. Unless someone makes a mod where they rearrange the mounting points of the masks for the stands, they won't be included in the mod.
you are king for sending me that, but ffs... it still dont repair missing table ._.
"Gets rid of the bug that CAUSES the Corvo Bianco table to disappear in the epilogue of Blood & Wine (leaving a floating mug and candle in midair) - it will NOT put the table back if it's already gone, sorry"
If you know how to and you will get this into motion then sure. If they do I will say it on the description and I only keep the armor stand and other improvements that might still come.
The other mod allows you to add helmets to the armor display. In the More Robes mod you can buy the helmets. But if you have any mod that adds hood items, then those might show up too. (I added these explanations to the description)

I am curious if you could add also default game wearable head accessories, masks and quest items into this mod? Would be wonderful too!
