W3EE removes most of the cool pirouettes when attacking. Well, what if I wanna be a ballerina? This mod restores the flashy pirouettes to medium/long light attacks and standing/medium/long heavy attacks. It replaces the awkward attacks like the forward hop for stylish pirouettes.
Installation Place it in your The Witcher 3 - Wild Hunt\Mods. In Script Merger, give priority to this mod over W3EE (don't merge!)
Credits to marchiali for a list with all the attack animations (found on his Custom Combos mod). I included the list in the file "TW3AttackIndex". If you want, you can modify Geralt's moveset by editing the "modW3EEEPirouettes\content\scripts\local\W3EE - Combo System.ws" file. Look for LIGHT ATTACKS MOVESET and HEAVY ATTACK MOVESET. Just replace the names of the animations you wanna change like "man_geralt_sword_attack_fast_back_1_rp_40ms". The "rp" and "lp" indicate if the attack is swinging from the right or from the left. The "AD_Front" or "AD_Right" correspond to the direction the enemy is relative to where Geralt is looking eg if the enemy is to the left of Geralt, it will play the "AD_left" animations. "ADIST_Small", "ADIST_Medium" and "ADIST_Large" indicate the distance modifier of the attack, standing, medium and long respectively.
I used Debug Console Extensions to preview the animations in game, but you can probably use Storyboard UI too. If you use Debug Console Extensions, keep in mind it's not compatible with W3EE so you're gonna have to uninstall W3EE if you wanna use it (you'll only use it to preview the animations so it's fine to uninstall W3EE just for that and reinstall later). Just open the console and type "forceanim(AnimationNameHere)" to play the combat animations so you know what they look like.
