Custom categories are back! It means that you can equip another item with this cloak now. But it also means that the cloak will not disappear automatically unless you use 'Accessory Slot Mod' by eNoodles. Truly a must have as it adds two new accessory slots + it makes the items disappear automatically when needed. https://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/5099
Hoods is now required if you want to use its raising/lowering hood functionality. And it comes with the advantage of a keybind. Meaning that you can finally have a key to toggle the cape and a key to toggle the hood.
Guys, please, help me! I've tried every way of installing this mod, but I keep getting merg errors of various kinds. Some involve these } sings, saying that some lines should or should not include these. I'm trying to install with Hood as well and some other mods, that are said to be required like Custom Localization Fix, Friendly HUD, AHD, Community Patch Base, More Robes. Do I need any of these or some other that I'm missing? I'm desparate
Is there any way to make the bandit facemask from Hoods toggleable through a keybind as well? I imagine its a similar process to this mod but im not familiar with the game files or anything to do it myself. Would really appreciate being able to put on and take off the mask without using the inventory menu everytime. This mod works with no issues btw.
Step by step all you need to do is: 1) Take folder "mod__hoods" from "Hoods" mod and put it in the game's "mods" folder 2) Put "dlc" and "Mods" from this (Killing Monsters Cloak) mod in the game's folder 3) Copy-paste the content of Mods\mod_KillingMonstersCloak\KMCloak.input.settingsat the very bottom of Documents\The Witcher 3\input.settings 4) Copy-paste the content of Mods\mod__hoods\Hoods.input.settingsat the very bottom of Documents\The Witcher 3\input.settings 5) Run WitcherScriptMerger and check "mod__hoods" and "mod_KillingMonstersCloak" then "create selected merge" 6) When merge window appears uncheck "automatically go to next unresolved conflict" (little arrow down that says "auto") at the top, then check "B" and "C" (the two highlighted lines at the left and right will go down), then click "go to next conflict" (double arrow down), then again check "B" and "C" 8) Click "file" then "save", now you can close the window 9) In game press 8 or 9. Done. This will work if you don't have other heavy scripted mods that need additional merging. If it doesn't work while you have no other mods installed then you do something wrong.
hola, hice todo lo que mencionaste, y no me dio ningun error al entrar al juego, pero no veo la capa por ningun lado, ¿deberia aparecer simplemente en el inventario? o ¿se consigue en algun lugar en especifico?
thank you for helping me getting this to work, at first i thought it wasn't working but it turns out it's because i was pressing 8 and 9 on the numpad.
The mod works perfectly, you need to put the input contents into UNDERNEATH THE ASSIGNED CATEGORIES. Assigned categories. Its gonna look something like this
Hi. Same error, and my screen is exactly the same as your screenshots witch scriptemerger. I dunno from where is coming the error :
Error [mod0000_mergedfiles]game\player\r4player.ws(659): I dont know any 'ArdCloakBound' Error [mod0000_mergedfiles]game\player\r4player.ws(660): I dont know any 'ArdCloakBound'
Hi... I have been trying to install KM Cloak and hood already merged it but I still get this message
Error [mod0000_mergedfiles]game\player\r4player.ws(3485): Could not find function 'MonsterCategoryToOilNames' Warning [content0]engine\environment.ws(30): Global native function 'EnableDebugOverlayFilter' was not exported from C++ code. When I followed the path it looks something like this oils = MonsterCategoryToOilNames(monsterCategory);

This mod works with no issues btw.
Like, keeping the cloak on the body but the hood off.
(testing with the 4.04 update in comments section)
thank you anyway :-)

Do you have any idea ?

When I followed the path it looks something like this
oils = MonsterCategoryToOilNames(monsterCategory);
for( i=0; i<oils.Size(); i+=1 )
{
if( inv.HasItem( oils[i] ) )
{
oilItems = inv.GetItemsByName( oils[i] );
ApplyOil(oilItems[0], GetEquippedSword( target.UsesVitality() ));
break;
I can get the game to start only if I remove KM CLOAK and Hood. I'm playing at Witcher V4.00
Any thoughts or suggestion would be a big help... Thanks in advance...
