One of the recent posts made me aware that my mod no longer works properly for the next-gen version of The Witcher 3, which is very unfortunate. Truthfully, I have been absent from the modding scene of The Witcher 3 for a long time as I have been honing my skills in both 3D modeling and design, so I have not been able to update this mod or take any of the modding requests I have received over the years. But now I may consider getting back into the modding scene and updating this mod in the future.
All of the support you've all been giving me on my first mod (a whopping 41 comments? Woah! Thanks!) has been inspiring me daily to pursue modding more and more. For the people who genuinely enjoy this mod as we approach 100 downloads already, I wanted to give a small note of thanks and some plans for the future. ====== PLANS FOR THE FUTURE ====== - Completely overhaul his face and body textures to make him paler and with grey eyebrows to match his hair. While this sort of edit has been done numerous times, I want to do it specifically with his body type in mind. - Redo Geralt's body (again) for a mesh with smoother, even arms. (With better knowledge of blender and sculpting in the future, this should be much faster.) The mesh will be redone but not enough to affect the already adjusted clothes. - Consider doing any requests I get in the future for this mod.
====== THANK YOU NOTE ====== Originally, I wasn't going to upload this mod to Nexus or even tell anyone that I was making this mod. I was too afraid of being harassed and/or being talked into quitting making mods like this in general. But after being talked into sharing a single screenshot I gained the confidence to upload it to Nexus and see that this mod not only makes me genuinely happy but makes others too. What started out as just something for fun to make someone smile or laugh quickly became a mod I was proud of and passionate about - even if this mod is a little unusual with respect to most in the community. I genuinely became fond of the work I did and even more fond of Geralt's body.
Even with the flood of support from you guys, there were times I felt that I should attempt to make more 'serious' mods like everyone else in order to gain 'popularity' or 'likes,' but after today I realized that's not what I want. I want to make mods that I enjoy making, and not just for numbers and views. Today I realized that perhaps this mod is my calling and I should pursue it if it's truly where my heart is at - which it is.
With that being said, I intend to keep getting better at blender, editing textures and editing clothes so I can keep enjoying what I do, and hopefully, you will like the end result!
Once we had many snack's, now there are too few. Among us a legend, the one they call Geralt of Rivia, the Obese Wolf. Slayer of the Worlds donut's, and the ultimate carbohydrate eating machine.
edit: just realized that the shirtless texture doesn't work anymore. sad :/ i see that you're not especially active anymore, but i'd love it if i could use this mod how it was intended if you ever do update it 😤😤😤
Saw your update about potentially getting into modding scene again and if you ever do, I will wait with great anticipation if you ever return. More than happy for you to be working on 3d modeling and design and as an artist myself I can fully understand that doing your personal work is always so much rewarding. However the game companies need to stop updating their older games out of the blue, as when I saw the update notification I thought I was gonna become a terrorist since a lot of modders tend to come and go, so there is always something to be lost. But oh well, I'm more than happy to have played once Witcher 3 with this mod and get quite a few nice screenshots for my art. All the best for you, HackerAxe! :D
The shirtless model doesnt appear anymore since the next gen update, they might be using a new Geralt model now? Havent been able to test all compatible armors but griffon still looks as it should, understandable if youve no time to update this though, just got real used to this body. Mod still great btw

4.04a is the FINAL update. Shouldn't your mod get one last rework that will live on indefinitely?
