Version 4.9
- Made the "third/nightmare phase" of the final boss fight with Dettlaff significantly harder, especially on the "Blood and Broken Bones" and "Death March" difficulties. See "Blood and Wine Vampires" section for details.
- Numerous monster rebalances in the Blood and Wine expansion, some of which are only applied to the "Death March" difficulty.
- Replaced Dettlaff's (Vampire Form) 5% Life Steal ability with Vampiric Drain.
- Ciri's charge attack will now disable Caranthir's ice armor.
- Minor rebalances to Caranthir and Eredin.
- Reworked Bruxa Decoction as it was a little overpowered. Effect can only apply from dusk until dawn now. Metamorphosis version instead provides extra abilities at full Adrenaline Points, including Aard Sweep being able to inflict knockdown.
- Slightly reworked Earth Elemental Decoction as it was a little underpowered. See "Decoction Overhaul" for details.
- Wight Decoction Tweak: Changed Metamorphosis effect from doubled duration to no longer costing Adrenaline Points.
- Fixed issue where a Wight Decoction powered Aard Sweep would still deplete stamina, even if a superior blizzard was active with 3 Adrenaline Points.
- Spriggan Decoction Tweak: Casting a supercharged sign will temporarily equip the tier 4 sign skills if they are not already.
- Shaelmaar Decoction Tweak: Now also adds +10% critical hit chance per counterattack.
- When Shaelmaars burrow in and start reigning rocks from above, they will regenerate health at 5% per second. This cannot be stopped using Moon Dust Bombs.
- Scurvers and Alps are now guaranteed to drop their respective mutagens as they are not encountered often enough to let it be chance based.
- Protofleders will now drop Fleder Mutagens instead of Protofleder Mutagens, as the latter is useless.
- Buffed "Undying" skill to heal 30% Vitality per Adrenaline Point and lowered cooldown from 60 seconds to 30 seconds. Also updated skill description to have these details.
- Fixed bug where Synergy skill would not work if it was unlocked by the Archespore Decoction.
- Fixed issues where adding a critical DoT or slowdown effect to enemies could activate the vanilla Metamorphosis mutation effect.
- Minor changes to string file.
- (GRC 1.9) Made Gwent Redux compatible with Redux 4.9
-
Version 4.8
- Wight Decoction Tweak: Aard Sweep now drains more stamina.
- Redesigned Leshen Decoction so it increases the size of the Yrden trap, instead of increasing the slowdown effect.
- Made it easier to distinguish what decoction is under the Metamorphosis Mutation in the HUD.
- Fixed issue where Scurver and Banshee Decoction recipes were not showing up as loot.
- Made the combat skill "Crippling Shot" block some of the new Redux enemy abilities.
- Fixed bug where the alchemy skill "Synergy" was only applying a 10% mutagen bonus instead of 50%. MAKE SURE SYNERGY IS UNEQUIPPED BEFORE INSTALLING UPDATE.
- Fixed bug where the alchemy skill "Synergy" would only apply when a mutagen was slotted and not when a skill was equipped.
- Fixed bug where wild hunt minions and other NPCs would get frozen in snowstorms.
- More monster rebalances.
- Minor changes to string file.
- (GRC 1.8) Made Gwent Redux compatible with Redux 4.8
-
Version 4.7
- Created 15 new decoctions and mutagens based on the monsters in the "Hearts of Stone" and "Blood and Wine" expansions. Based on Karpfenfrosch's fantastic Additional Alchemy mod. See "Decoction Overhaul" section for details.
- Swapped a number of decoction icons and mutagen colours around to better match the abilities they provide.
- Lowered the duration bonus for decoctions from the Metamorphosis Mutation from 3x to 2x.
- Modified the Earth Elemental decoction to also give Geralt the ability to parry and counter usually unblockable attacks from humans. Negative effect now also lowers attack speed by 15% instead of 10%. See "Decoction Overhaul" section for details.
- Redesigned the Werewolf decoction. Adrenaline generation through melee attacks is now increased when Vitality is below 50%. See "Decoction Overhaul" for details.
- Minor redesign of the Alghoul decoction. See "Decoction Overhaul" for details.
- Fixed buggy effect of the Foglet decoction ("Flood of Anger" skill in vanilla). Should work more reliably now.
- Nerfed Superior Golden Oriole potion to heal only 50% of poison damage.
- Added a horseback damage multiplier for both the player character and enemies [Gameplay->General].
- Made Adrenaline Drain Multiplier on hit configurable [Gameplay->General].
- Some more monster rebalancing.
- Fixed a bug where Redux level scaling was making enemies lower than Geralt's level in White Orchard always get down-scaled to level 1.
- Fixed a bug where the Wolven gear was partially providing the 6/6 set bonus incorrectly and permanently. Drinking a Potion of Clearance or equipping/unequipping a piece of wolven gear (superior or higher) will fix the issue.
- Fixed vanilla visual bug where Adrenaline Points in the HUD would sometimes not correctly drain when using Rend.
- Minor changes to string file.
- (GRC v1.71) Made Gwent Redux compatible with Redux 4.7.
-

- Regen multiplier added for monsters that have the "Respite" ability [Gameplay->Enemy Abilities].
- Moon Dust bombs cannot stop regen from the "Respite" ability.
- Moon Dust boms no longer stop vampires from using "Flashstep", which allows them to teleport around. Dimeritium bombs still stop it as per vanilla.

- Introduced a configurable form of level scaling, separated by areas. See "Redux Level Scaling" section for details.
- Redesigned superior version of Dimeritium bombs. Original bonus effect was buggy and would block magic abilities permanently. New version increases Geralt's Sign Intensity while he is in the cloud and lasts for 10 seconds outside the cloud.
- Dimeritium bombs will now destroy Geralt's Quen shields and Yrden glyphs/traps.
- Superior Grapeshot bombs now also ignore 25% of damage resistance.
- Re-levelled a number of quests on Skellige to be higher as it should feel more dangerous than Velen and Novigrad. See "Quest Levels" section for details
- Rebalanced some monsters. See "Monster Changes" section for details.
- Replaced "armor piercing" with "chance to break parry" on weapons.
- Replaced Gear Degradation mod menu toggle with a configurable degradation rate, relative to vanilla.
- When upgraded with the Severance Runeword, Rend will now also damage a % of the struck enemy's MAX health - relative to the stamina and Adrenaline Points consumed.
- Severance is now a level 3 runeword and Replenishment is now level 2. Quality of runes required to craft the runewords has also been modified to match.
- Increased Ciri's damage output further during the battle in Skellige->Lofoten.
- Changed "Contract: Mysterious Tracks" from a level 20 to a level 21 quest due to the difficulty of the contract monster.
- Changed "Carnal Sins" from a level 22 to a level 23 quest due to giving vampires the "Vampiric Drain" ability in an earlier update.
- Fixed issue where quests that had their level changed were not providing the correct experience upon completion.
- Fixed bug where Troll Subtitles were only working for the "Volunteer" quest troll and no others. Still buggy, interactions with Trolls and multiple other entities at the same time will display subtitles for all.

-
Version 2.0
- Reworked Whirl/Severance. In summary, Whirl with Severance works the exact same as previous versions of the mod. Whirl on its own however now drains less Stamina and doesn't drain Adrenaline at all but stops its generation.
- Enemies can no longer parry if they have 0 stamina. Vanilla says it works like this, but it doesn't.
- Reworked Sign skill "Melt Armor". Will now lower damage resistance instead of Armor based on Sign Intensity. Armor is a useless stat in the game, especially mid-late game.
- Modified combat skill "Crippling Strikes" to damage 2% of the enemy's MAX health, instead of current. Dropped apply chance from 15% to 10% per Adrenaline Point.
- Fixed Description of the "Attack is the Best Defense" general skill.
- Added some flair to the Archgriffin Decocotion - will briefly slow down time when activated.
- Fixed Igni "Core Ability" damage tooltip from not taking into account the damage boost from the Pyromaniac skill if equipped.
- Decreased attack power bonus Adrenaline Points provide from 15% to 10%.
- Slightly increased the health of Bruxas and Alps.
- Minor modification to critical hit chance calculations. Having a critical hit chance of >=200% will allow for critical hits to be scored against enemies who are usually immune. This makes abilities like "Killing Spree" more viable.
-
Version 1.9
- AHI Enhancement - Dodging attacks will now change human enemies' tactics and they will increase their speed to compensate.
- AHI Tweak - Removed "AHI" logic from "Peasant class" human enemies (i.e really weak enemies) and slightly lowered AHI buffs.
- AHI Tweak - Samum bombs will now remove all buffs applied from AHI and permanently "disorient" human enemies meaning the buffs cannot be reapplied.
- Holding Parry/Guard after quick throwing a Samum bomb will prevent it from affecting Geralt if he is in range.
- Added graphical HUD element for the Fatigue mechanic - two hands bound by rope (reused asset)
- Fixed issue where the combat skill "Cold Blood" did not provide an Adrenaline Point when killing an enemy
- Alternate Quen (Active Shield) will no longer fatigue Geralt when it breaks
- Fixed issue where Manticore Gear did not provide Stamina Regen bonuses despite now being a Light Armor
-
Version 1.8
- Tweaked AHI - Parrying and Countering will now have a greater debuff effect on human enemies.
- Nerfed General skill "Attack is the Best Defense". Defensive actions generated less Adrenaline and increased cooldown from 5 to 10 seconds. Removed "roll" from buff list.
- The Free Quen Shield from the 3/6 Bonus Grandmaster Bear Gear will not fatigue Geralt if it breaks
- Slightly lowered the scaling of the basic igni burning effect and the Aard knockdown effect.
- Fixed issue where the "Piercing Cold" Mutation was using the average of Geralt's Sign Intensity and not his specific Aard Sign Intensity
- Increased scaling of the "Pierciing Cold" Mutation - was still too powerful. Added a max cap of 45% freeze chance.
- Removed odd vanilla design where Adrenaline Points multiplied the Sign Intensity bonus from the third-tier Igni Boost skill if it was equipped.
- Fixed issue where stamina damage value was not showing up on character screen if "Shockwave" Aard skill was equipped.
-
Version 1.7
- Added new mechanic - "Adaptive Human Intelligence" - see heading under Mod Description for more details.
- Significantly nerfed the "Fast Metabolism" alchemy skill.
- Lowered duration of Devil's Puffball poison cloud from 30 seconds to 10 seconds for Enhanced/Superior variants.
- Added new additive poison resistances to most monsters - see "Poison Critical Effect" heading under Mod Description for more details
- Added cap of 50% stamina reduction to the Cockatrice Decoction. Metamorphosis now increased cap to 100% instead of its previous effect.
- Fixed description of "Pyrotechnics" alchemy skill for English version - now correctly states damage bonus as +50%.
-
Version 1.6
- Gameplay changes to "Blood and Wine" including monster stat changes, changes to the Mutation system and a new gameplay mechanic for vampire enemies called "Elder Focus"
- Fixed Issue where applying burning before another burning effect was over would not apply correct fire resistances.
- Fixed Issue where Katakan Decoction didn't actually work.
- Normal drowners can no longer drop drowner dead tongues and have a chance of dropping water essence instead.
- The Ekimmara Decoction will no longer heal you when you apply DoT.
- Fixed the "Undying" skill as it wasn't working properly (Vanilla bug).
- Fixed bug with "Endure Pain" skill where Vitality boost would persist after toxicity returned to normal.
- Buffed the "Crippling Strikes" skill bleed chance from 10% to 15% per Adrenaline Point
- Added a maximum physical damage resistance cap of 50% to Geralt.
-
Version 1.5
- Further changes to the burn critical effect, was still over-powered.
- Increased fire and burning resistances for human enemies.
- "Crippling Strikes" skill will now take into account the enemy's resistance to bleeding
- "Protective Coating" skill damage resistance slightly lowered from 25% to 20%
-
Version 1.4
- Re-worked the "Burning" critical effect as it was vastly overpowered. See the description (heading "Burning Critical Effect") for more details.
-
Version 1.3
- Further gameplay tweaks to the Endgame, including stat changes to Caranthir and Eredin.
- Increased Ciri's Attack Power during her gameplay segments by 30%-60%.
- Gave Imlerith, Caranthir and Eredin immunity to frost magic.
- Melee attacks performed while in the battle trance from the "Flood of Anger" skill are now unblockable.
- Unblockable melee attacks provided by the Earth Elemental Decoction no longer work on Bosses.
-
Version 1.2
- Gameplay changes to "Hearts of Stone", including changes to monster stats and abilities, gear and some minor changes to the runewords.
- Resolved bug in "Elusive Thief" where the Doppler is immortal.
- Removed more silver swords from loot in the game that I had missed .
- Moon Dust Bombs no longer stop Fiend/Chort essence regen.
- Removed logic that made it Adrenaline was still lost when a Quen shield was broken. With the fatigue system, this nerfed Quen too much.
- A Chort Decoction will now also stop Fatigue from building in addition to its vanilla effects.
- Flood of Anger will now also consume all stamina as well as 3 Adrenaline Points. This prevents you from using signs/special abilities during the battle trance.
- Monster Feathers now dismantle into Feathers.
- Monsters that are "wet" (i.e drowners/water hags) are now harder to inflict burning onto. However, if burning is achieved, it does more damage.
- Ghouls now deal poison damage and are immune to poison.
-
Version 1.1
- Resolved bug with Superior/Mastercrafted Wolf Gear not having the appropriate armorer levels.
- Modified Archgriffin Decoction to damage 10% of enemy's MAX Vitality, not current.
- Debuffed the Werewolf in "Ciri's Story: King of Wolves" Quest as otherwise he's too difficult without Moon Dust Bombs
- Further gameplay tweaks to certain monsters
