Hello. First, thanks for sharing this mod, i really like it.

I noticed that when upscaled, Sword's damage can increase drastically, but Sign's damage doesn't increase much, so the more Geralt gets upscaled the less useful Sign damage becomes. When the enemy is only a few levels higher than Geralt this issue isn't too noticeable.

    For example:
    Level 18 : I have 1069 Silver Sword DPS, 109% Sign Intensity.
Level 18 upscaled to face level 50 enemy: 2299 Silver Sword DPS, 117% Sign Intensity.

Is this normal or it might be an issue with my mod list?

Edit: does this happen because the equipment gets upscaled too and this improves Sword Damage but not Sign Intensity? I guess this is a vanilla game issue and fixing it is beyond the scope of this mod. Even if my Geralt was really at level 50 with level 50 equipment, Sign Damage wouldn't scale well.

It's normal, that's just how Geralt's stats progression is. Check the modpage pics. Base sign intensity bonus is +0% at lv1 and like all the other Geralt stats it ends/tops out at lv50 (around +30%).

The sign intensity bonuses you get from your equiped skills, gear bonuses, potion effects, and equiped mutagens are much more significant than the bonus you get from your level. And the bonuses you get from equiped mutagens really trump all others:  https://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/3986

    Can this be installed mid-playthrough?

    Awesome concept btw!

This mod is great. Pretty much every fight seems to just make sense now, haven't felt too strong or too weak. Being able to use any gear I want and not worry about it is excellent.

Does this have any effect on combat music and how it dynamically changes as your level gets higher or does it continue to function as it does in vanilla?

@tk423 I wasn't aware different music played depending on level difference. If you try it and see the music doesn't change as expected let me know.

Thank you for creating this mod; the concept is excellent. However, I have a question: sometimes the open-world monsters have levels higher than the protagonist, which might be CDPR's way of discouraging players from accessing certain areas too early. This could potentially avoid triggering errors. If I use your mod, could it lead to premature encounters with monsters or locations required for later storylines, possibly causing bugs or other issues?

Enhanced Edition Redux mod has not levels at all and works fine.
The levels are there mostly as a progression mechanic, rather than some gating mechanic. If you go to Skellige on lvl 1 and kill a lvl 40 Griffon, nothing is going to break, really.

I bought the game when it first came out, but never played it.  When I first dived into it, I loved the game.  As I continued to play, there were two things that bothered me; the alchemy system and the awful leveling system.  As Geralt developed, I would bypass quests that I was not ready for while searching for "level appropriate" contracts.  I am about 60 hours into this mod and have to say that this mod and your alchemy mod are absolutely essential.  Thank you for this phenomenal mod.

Is it compatible with the "Balanced Damage and Scaling" mod?

Does this mod consider the number of enemies as a factor when scaling? Because right now, fighting a pack of ghouls is harder than the prologue griffin contract
