Version 4.03.00 Updated mod for Next Gen v4.03-4.04 compatibility.
Version 4.0
Added "Level Filter" option in menu. ON = uses level filter. OFF = don't use level filter, which is useful for anyone who uses No Gears Level or Gears Level Up mods.
Made almost all bolts (except the default Infinite Ammo ones) sellable to merchant NPCs. All bolts can be sold for 1 crown to not disrupt the game economy. Bolts buying price is unchanged from vanilla.
Improved casual armors detection. It now has 100% detection accuracy and no longer relies on level condition like previously.
Improved clearing functions. Please see description for new, updated filter logic.
Added new, updated w3strings for English language (localization file is included). All previously translated languages must be updated to be compatible with Improved Merchants v4.
Updated menu. Make sure to install the new menu in "bin" folder.
Removed "Refresh Funds on Shop Open" feature. (Why? See below *.)
* The original idea behind this mod was to improve performance and add Quality of Life (QoL) features. Any past feature(s) that was deemed unbalanced has been removed. Any future feature suggestions that aren't balanced will not be considered or added to this mod.
At first, when i installed it correctly and merged everything, it didn't work at all. Then i disabled all my mods, it deleted all my grey colored weapons , but changing colors in menu will not do anything with any other type of weapon (i want to delete master items, so i need to choose blue color, right?). My level filter is disabled, mod enabled button is on and clear weapons button is on too
Gears Quality: Clear gears that are LOWER quality than the color set. Green = witcher, orange = relic, etc. Gray and white quality are treated as common. For example, setting the quality to Orange will clear white, blue, and yellow gears. Also, green (witcher) gears will ALWAYS be kept since it is the highest quality.
See Menu Descriptions and Filters Priority sections for more info.
The problem was Brothers in Arms mod. For some reason, Script Merger allowed me to merge this mod with BiA, no "non-bundled text" or same edited script lines conflicts was shown. Putting Improved Merchants into higher priority over BiA fixed the problem, dunno if it broke anything in BiA, but the game launches at least. Thank you, I only need to clear merchants after Hanse base farm, so Gears Quality is only thing I need. Goodbye!

Any idea whats going on with this? I followed your installation instructions and no luck.
If you use any mod manager to install this mod, it might install it incorrectly. Check to see if you have the file: The Witcher 3\mods\modImprovedMerchants\content\scripts\game\npc\merchantNPC.ws
Also, make sure you install the menu correctly (step 2 and 3). Folder name might be different if you're using Steam version.
Hello, I really like your work. I tested it in the next generation version and found that although I have opened the mod, I still cannot clear the Toussaint Blacksmith's backpack.
First of all a very good mod, only it will clear the ASM hoods, and more robes of the mask, which makes me very annoyed, quality filtering can do a separate switch settings for the sword and armor? I just hate to see too much selling of weapons and armor
Not compatible with Well Stocked Craftsmen. However I like this mod more so I am okay with not having Well Stocked Craftsmen. Tried merging and changing priorities.
I guess I should have phrased it better, but when I use script merger to merge both no issues pop up. Update: Sort of got it work, need to exit and reenter merchant a few times to remove the crap weapons.

No script changes were detected for NextGen v4.04, so no update is needed.
