    Read the readme!

    Important information, please, read before posting!

    When you start downloading the mod, a window pops up, informing you that this mod requires Community Patch - Base to work properly. This message does indeed mean that you need to install Community Patch - Base, so do it before posting compilation error messages. And do read the install instructions for the patch - it's manual only, no Vortex, no nothing. If you think you installed it and you're getting compilation errors with just Friendly HUD - then you did not in fact install the patch properly.

    Make sure you've followed Install/update instructions closely and performed Troubleshooting steps from Basic guide to installing TW3 mods before reporting a problem. When asking for support, please, write what you've done already to attempt to fix your issue.

    Also, if you have troubles installing the mod, try reading this - kudos to stefan3372 and his awesome Mod Manager.

    DO NOT post compilation errors, compatibility problems with other mods and questions about mod options to the Bugs section! Bugs section is for bug reports and bug reports only! If you're having problems installing the mod or making it work with other mods - read the guides linked above!

    Known bugs:
    There's vanilla bug with reassigning radial menu hotkey from Tab to anything else that breaks its functionality along with quick items functionality of this mod. Either don't reassign this key or use new option under Mods -> Friendly HUD -> Quick Items which is called "Show quick items in slowdown mode" and allows quick items to work with reassigned keys.

    Not bugs:
    Default main menu settings in Friendly HUD will revert your GOTY main menu to non-GOTY version. To get GOTY random menu back, go to mod options and choose GOTY preset for main menu.

    AZERTY keyboard:
    - by nonodu75017: "There is one thing to change for AZERTY keyboard, in the radial menu section, the keybind IK-Minus=(Action=UseItem11), is not the same as a qwerty keyboard, on azerty keyboard Minus= ° or ) "
    - by hockeysveis: "those who have a french laptop like mine: in your input.settings file, change: IK-Minus=(Action=UseItem11) to IK_LeftBracket=(Action=UseItem11) Voilà! All potions work in the radial menu now!"

    I use this mod, and all other functions work fine, but the automatic application of sword oil does not work. My version is 1.32, and I have already set the priority to the highest, but it has no effect.However, if I use the "auto oil on sword" mod, it works.Can anyone tell me what to do?thx

      There is no "automatic application of sword oil" feature in this mod

      Yo, I got a work around.

      I dunno if you was trying to run dx11 or whatever but here is what I did.

      I had GOG use the classic version. 

      I then went and downloaded the last TW3MM version I remembered that worked with classic before the next-gen update (this step may be meaningless).

      I then went and downloaded the last version of friendly hud I know worked on classic (13.6)

      Installed all my mods with the manager including friendly HUD, and then ran script merger, manually fixed the 2 conflicts I found, and everything is working except the hud scale keeps resetting to a smaller scale and I have to rescale it every time I start a game.

    i want to suggest a feature for the quick item menu, i don't know if it's possible to implement:

    an option to enable controlling Geralt while using the radial menu.

    because i want to use the mod without any slowdown for a more challenging experience, but if i were to just tap the tab key instead of holding it, it'll just pause the game (i know it's hardcoded and you can't change it from your mod) but if i hold the key it'll leave me open for too long, i just think it's a neat feature to have, hopefully not impossible to implement, have a great year!!

    edit: additionally, an option to make the quick access menu close automatically after letting go off the key, or even upon pressing it again would come very handy, since you need to click to close it as is now, you'd be forced to attack if player control was enabled from the radial menu.

    i remapped the menu key from TAB to Q since i am going to use signs from 12345 instead, and i noticed that you have around 3 options to close the menu:  TAB (even though it's not the selected key), left click, and ESC.
    what's worse, if you use spacebar it sends you to meditation?? i find this entirely ridiculous honestly,
    another annoying thing is that if you try to open the menu mid attack it just doesn't work, if the key is mapped to TAB again, it still doesn't work BUT when the attack finishes, he radial menu pops up.
    i don't know if all of these are hardcoded but from my limited understanding i am guessing it'd be complicated to implement...
    worst case scenario i will just not use the radial menu, but i'd still like to hear your opinion on this.

    When setting Hide enemy levels to Red Skull Only, I'm getting an asterisk (*) displayed alongside enemy health information, as pictured below. Is there any way to resolve this?

    Is there a way to disable NPC names while keeping herb names enabled? Hide animal names and Hide herb names are options in the mod's menu but there does not appear to be a way to hide only NPC names in the current version.

    Hey guy's, I'm trying to install this mod but I'm having problems merging it with BlitzFX. I'm using Mod Manager and Script Merger, I get about 10 script errors from this and other mods but when I merge only one can't merge which I have to do it manually between BlitzFx and FriendlyHUD. The script merge is the game\r4Game.ws file. When doing it manually I have tried to choose only line B, or only line C, and I have tried both B and C but the game wont run. This is the message I get when trying to run the game. 

    Error [modfriendlyhud]game\gui\main_menu\ingamemenu.ws(309): Could not find function 'RefreshMainMenuAfterContentLoaded'

    does anyone can tell me how to merge this mod with blitzFX, or is it umergeable ? im using script merger to merge B only, C only, and both B & C but nothing work, it still give me error :
