tried, but i cant get it work, got griffin armor set plus swords , the grandmaster bonus wont activate , only swords shows the 2th bonus and its 2/6 , armor shows just the first bonus and its 4/6
Been playing with it for a while and there's an issue. Even though Bear armor tier 1 is light armor now, it still reduces stamina regeneration so to make a GM compatible file, we need to edit the stats as well and it kinda breaks balance I reckon
I do not want to disturb; but I use the MOD "Grand Master Viper Armor" and if you have seen it the armor looks more like medium armor. Would it be possible to put the Kaer Morhen armor as "light" and the Viperine as "Medium"? :)
Hi! I only need retexture of all these armor, but I cant find it on Nexus(( Could you help me please? For example, a bear armor in your screenshot. I really cant find it(
I like the idea of this mod and I'll definitely use it so long as it ends up being compatible with my load order however, the one nitpicky gripe I have is that I wish the high tier cat armors remained light and the the viper armor remained medium. I understand that it makes sense based on how the armors look however, I thought the main idea of the cat armor was to remain agile and swift like a cat. In the end, it doesn't really matter too much to me and I'm still really excited about this mod. I just thought I would make my personal preference known.
Sure, I'll gladly hear every opinion .-) Too bad that the way it is, making version that fits everyone's taste would be difficult. I originally wanted to release different variants too, but gave up.
And about Cat armors remaining light - this exactly what irks me... Cats are agile and swift, but than the armor should reflect that and it doesnt. No way is GM Cat less restrictive than first tiers of other armors... This is why I made this mod. If witchers of Cat schools care about agility, than they shouldnt wear later tiers at all... As one of the users here said, the later Cat armors should be heavier in real life than Bear armors!
Awesome mod man. Thanks for the Ghost Mode version. I have always had a problem with the grandmaster witcher gear so I love mods like this that actually correct some of the issues. I almost wish they didn't create these sets and just released better gear throughout the world. Because the whole game becomes about these witcher sets so it completely kills any type of enjoyment you receive from opening a chest because you know it won't match the stats.
Not to mention, the sets actually look decent while most of the armor you find while exploring makes you look like some buffoon. It just doesn't look very cool when you go up against The Wild Hunt who are wearing their awesome black armor and here comes Geralt wearing something that looks to have been made by a color-blind teenager. It leaves you no choice but to roll with the much cooler witcher sets.
Anyway, it is still my favorite game but damn I wish the gear was designed and created much differently. Awesome work though. I will make sure to keep my eye out for anything you do in the future.
