Let's say I wanted to test your mod vs vanilla by using this Weather Control mod to easily change weather types, which of these should apply your changes?
Clear/Sunny Light Cloud Mid Cloud Heavy Cloud Dark Cloud Rain Storm Snow/Blizzard Grey Sky
PS. I have Promotional Atmosphere Lighting Mod installed.
That depends entirely on what clouds the lighting mod is using. If the mod does not edit cloud textures, texture paths, weather csv, particles etc... then it should be "light, mid and heavy clouds" weathers.
I'm new to modding on “The Witcher 3” and the only sky-modifying mod I have installed is “Cloud 3.0”, I encounter this bug but even disabling “Cloud 3.0” via “Witcher 3 Mod Manager” it's still there...
(The Witcher 3 v4.04 (DX12), I haven't installed the two “requirements”)
I was having a problem with this mod not working only to found out that i needed to start a new game in order for this work, dont know if this is known and its suppose to work this way, or its something that shouldn't happen, maybe this is why the clouds were not showing for some people.
so what is your honest opinion hyadum, is this mod needed in next gen or is vanilla same? find it hard to see any real difference, really not trying to bash your mod <3
My mod changes cloud textures. IIRC vanilla next gen has the same cloud textures as old gen. Nothing really changed texture wise, so if you enjoyed the mod on old gen, you'll enjoy it on next gen.
Blitz doesn't matter, i don't remember what IL uses as clouds, but if it is vanilla, it doesn't matter aswell. If not, just give my mod priority and you should be set.
Are these the new clouds? I also have "The Witcher 3 HD Reworked Project" mod installed, but the new clouds are set to the highest priority in mod merger. I'm not sure they're showing (I'm in Crookback Bog)
No those are vanilla clouds. I have not swapped all cloud type with this mod, so you will see vanilla clouds aswell. My cloud are the light type and the heavy type (small and big ones in the sky, not the ones that cover the top of the sky like you showed).
I don't know what to tell you. I know the mod works for sure but I went ahead and tested once again just to make sure and it does work. Since the mod does not edit all cloud textures, make sure you are looking for them in the correct weathers according to your lighting mod (or vanilla).
I have already said that I tried it on a clean install and as before, the old clouds remained the same and moreover, this is the only mod that changes the visual effects No errors or conflicts with other mods have ever been observed... what's with the mod that nothing has changed without it:'(
I think maybe in some areas the clouds look very similar to vanilla clouds. could that be? I'm in Crookback Bog now and don't see much difference, maybe that could be the case

NewClouds 3.0 is a simple retexture, it really can't create bugs like the one you've shown. Whatever it is, it's being caused by something else.
Great mod btw
