It's okay to use XTC for easy and fast uncook process, but WolvenKit allow you to edit, search, convert as txt for easy comparison, import texture, making dlc, etc... and most importantly: Pack the mod without mistake.

I dont exclude anything but i dont think i will ever continue the work on this here.
In fact i failed with 5.1 and merging never worked as i liked it to be and that frustrated me so much that i gave up.
It would be a big pain in the ass to continue this project and most important - there are way better tools out there imo.
I love my own work and it works great for uncooking and cooking. Use it for this if you like.

I know this mod is discontinued, but, I just want to say: thank you for making it. It's much easier to use, and faster to use as well, than WolvenKit. And it does the job right.
The problem with wolvenkit is the fact it is simply too bloated for a first time user on top of having no coherent guides. You attempt to do 1 thing then 10 others pop up out of nowhere. Once you learn how the program works that ceases to be an issue yet for new users it is hell
I don't feel it is working properly When I cook mode Should be the path Example: modglass\Modded\environment\textures_tileable Or without Modded? I use this tool only for Uncook Because when I cook some mods There is no change in the game when trying the mod
Drag&drop doesn't work for me, so I can't even get it started. Should have offered a different method of choosing folders, like typing it out if you have to.

Excellent! Kudos to xTcisloVe for creating a tool that is simple, does what is needed quickly and without fuss or idiotic restrictions like other mad... I mean ModKits. This one is my main and favorite modding tool, use Volvenkit and other kits only when need to go deeper into some entity or animation files - but final cooking always in xTc. Hope you'll finish the version 5.0 some day!
does anyone know how to uncook 1 mod folder that only has texture.cache and metadata.store files ? This mod contains a few PNG image files that I want to extract. I lost all my modded files but I still have the packed mod, just not in PNG format.
When i first start it up and drag and drop my modkit folder it says "slow modkit, would you like to install fast modkit" if i click yes it sends me to a 404 page. Should probably update the faster modkit exe download spot
setting directory is unresponsive i dont know whats the issue here i have been using this few years ago it doesnt even give you message that it is wrong directory its just unresponsive 5.0 works tho
