Playing on a 3070 with settings between Ultra and Ultimate using the Tweaks mod. Tried out Uber LOD and found the performance hit to be to great for my liking. This mod fixes what I wanted fixed, and doesn't kill my performance at all in comparison to Uber LOD. Not bad mouthing that mod, just a little too demanding coupled with my settings. This mod however, is perfect.
Whatchanges Removed bugged meshes? I didn't notice any special changes. Some houses still disappear if you get far enough away from them. And the house near the main gate of Novigrad did not change the texture at all. Or did I do something wrong?
Hello sir. May I ask your opinion about which lod mod is better for now, this next gen lod mod or the old 1.4gb version of increased draw distance mod?
Another question. Isn't it possible to just change the distance value at witch high quality meshes get replaces by lower quality ones? That way it would just be a little script mod.
sry, but what better 1,4 GB are you talking about? IDD just has 255 KB. Yes, an older version has 1,4 GB but the updated version is, according to its own description, way better than the old one.
Wanted to ask the same question. What does one mod do, that the other does not? Where are the differences and stuff? (Other than that IDD needs Shared Imports and NGLODB doesn't.)
Btw is IDD mentioned under "Recommended mods to go with this mod:" in the description. So I guess they do different things.
Guys some one knows how to fix some textures flickering?? i have that problem in the start location of white orchard. Some wooden pieces of houses and some roofs of straw. I dont think its really matter but sometimes if your look at these objects my eyes make twitch))
Having the issue where the roof tops have smooth cut edges instead of the normal jagged edges. I remember seeing this in the posts before but I cant find it anymore. Anyone know how to fix that?
Thanks for the effort, the mod actually improves the gaming experience in the places where it works. It's a shame the mod wasn't finished though. Probably would've been one of the top go-to mods for all the players trying to mod this game. :'^[
