Until this mod gets updated for 4.03, you can use Clean Screen for Next Gen (which HAS been updated for 4.03), the "All-in-One" download takes care of most stuff. It doesn't take care of brazier fire blooms. For that, you can still use this mod's optional file, NoScreenFXSTLM but find swimming.ws in the modfolder and delete it (it is out of date for 4.03, but Clean Screen already covers that).
Edit: I just realized the author of this mod, Tig3r3y3 has been BANNED. So I guess it's not getting updated. Use Clean Screen instead.
Effect of the white frost is located here: (this mod does not remove the white frost effect) fx\textures\other\frost.xbm
So what is the freeze screen, then? - Author's quote from optional files "Standalone that removes the "freeze_screen" effects. Used as a subtle splash effect, which is where I noticed it." - The freeze screen files: fx\textures\screen\freezing_screen_01.xbm fx\textures\screen\freezing_screen_02.xbm
Needs to be updated to become fully compatible with NextGen Edition!
(Edit) I decided to learn to mod the Witcher 3 NextGen Edition and updated the mod "Screen FX Removal" for my personal usage. Honestly, once you get the hang of it, you'd wish you'd started sooner to learn modding.
Apps WolvenKit-7 NGE series (Available on github) and its requirements Script Merger (kdiff3.exe is the app)
Thank you for this great mod! Redefines the word "Clean"! This mod is the best there is at what it does which is making sure you see the world of Geralt of Rivia as clearly as possible!
Is there any chance to update the removal of the red corner Geralt-getting-hit effect for Next Gen? Really is immersion brealking and useless... Would be great.
That would be nice......!!! ( by the way.... you know when you get hit.....!!! ) Thank you......!!!!
Edit..... Maybe you could consider leaving the mud thrown by waterhugs because when you get hit by it the point is to loose sight...... since the game is in third person it is not immerssive i know but there must be some penalty if you don t dodge it....... just mentioning.... Thanks......
Totally agree. Came back to the page to see if I missed that option. @Tig3r3y3, if it's easily done and you have time, the ability to pick & choose would be appreciated. Thanks for your work.

What about the red in the screen when Geralt gets hit....? Can that be removed as well.....?
Thanks......
I might include that as an optional since others have asked for it.
