Hey man, i encountered this oddity, that actually looks quite nice haha, when using the supreme to extreme graphics mod alongside this, and having the grass thickness and distance beyond ultra, the grass becomes more... flat? But in a good way. See the pics for what i mean.
My question is, if you agree with me that the first pic looks better indeed, if you can make it so the grass is more falt like in the first pic. To not look as rural, basicly.
that would be wonderful. I feel the brown grass captures the war shattered atmosphere of velen much better than the vanilla one. @paganmetalfan, would you be able to make a new grass model for velen?
Nope, sry, all that can be done with the current modkit is replacing grass models with other grass models from the game and making a new texture for it.
I went to an area with high grass in the lake north of kaer morhen and noticed no discernible difference in performance on my 750ti. then again i couldnt tell a difference in grass, maybe i didn't install it properly?
really? that seems too good to be true. Do you mean that replacing a tousaint grass with the velen grass gave you better performance? suggesting that the tousaint grass is more resource dependent?
