Too bad this mod is considered out of date, it worked for 1.32, but doesn't work for the Next Gen update. If somebody could update the scripts, that would be great!
This is the best mod of its kind, and it's a shame that it's no longer being updated, although I have it working with no problems with my limited scripting knowledge, but others may not fair so well. Could you perhaps hand it down?
Could you make a version or patch for compatibility with the Preparations mod? The playerWitcher.ws file is where the conflicts happen. I asked for the preparations mod author for help too, thanks in advance :]
The problem with Preparations mod merging is caused by Ghost Mode code used without my permission, which is related to using stashed ingredients for crafting and alchemy. This feature is interconnected with Preparations and since Preparations and Ghost Mode can be used separately, I made it so it works for either case and doesn't create conflicts when merging with Script Merger.
This is also the reason why you ask original code author for his/her permission and why you either rework the whole mod and state that your mod includes its features or you include the code as is to keep compatibility with original mod and avoid such kind of conflicts.
Also, the code in question has a major bug which I fixed some time ago, so it needs to be updated anyway.
Hello, wghost81, I would love to use preparations in conjunction with this mod and since the author probably abandoned this mod already. Is there any workaround fix for these two mods to work?
If I were to hazard a guess, the issue is with the RemoveItem Function. I already noticed on a few occasions with BIAS that the amounts subtracted were not correct, and most likely occurs when you have a certain item both in inventory and stash but where inventory amount alone is not enough.
As the code is not mine to give, I don't think it's appropriate to share the 'fix' here however.
It would appear that main menu items are broken with version 1.31 (standard edition, no expansions). I threw out bin, content and Mods folders and had GoG verify/repair and did a clean install with this MOD only. Same issue I had before persists:
On main menu where ' Mods' option should be is an empty space, which can be selected and clicked (hovering over it reveals rectangle bar), this takes you to the Mods options sub-menu which has another empty selectable space, the BIAS mod itself, which then switches to next sub-menu only showing ' Inventory' and 2 more empty selectable rectangles for Stash and HorseWhistle (assuming these are the names, as they're in the .xml).
All items themselves are preceded by 2 '#' symbols.
That sounds like a issue with the localization. On the page description I have included a link to custom localization. Try downloading that and see if it fixes the mod menu.
From what I recall, the Custom Localization Fix did reintroduce the menus. But I was wondering if perhaps you could point me to the cause in the mod itself so I could rectify it.
I now have several other MODs with ingame menu, which shows the Mods menu, and under it the actual mods with their submenus while BIAS Mod still shows as an empty rectangle with only 'Inventory' visible as submenu under it. If it's a localization issue, how come Inventory is visible?
How to get it working with 1.31? game does compile and kinda reacts, inventory cap has changed and when i press 0 i get "you'r to far away bla bla"... but there is no mod menu, so i can't configure and use it

Edit: I guess you could just use Real Heavy with Friendly Stash.
Alongside with Primer, ESGO and Friendly HUD mods.
Was easy, just edited some .ws scripts manually.
I also do not have a trendy menu, although I downloaded Custom Localization Fix
wanna know this too...
Hoping it works with the mentioned Wghost mods as well as Ghost Mode, Primal Needs, and Lore Friendly Economy.
