I really would like a mod that stops the autocentre feature but I'm just not sure what you mod does nor how it does it. I have read your description, I have read your posts below so please just take the following as friendly criticism from someone that potentially wants to use your mod:
Your description is convoluted and unclear. You start off talking about the autocentre but then suddenly you're talking about x360 controllers and logitech controllers. You then briefly mention button mapping and slow panning, which makes sense, but then move on to talking about FPS and resolution. I truly have no idea why you have conflated so many 'fixes' into one mod. I know that you have spent time on this and I am always grateful for modders' hard work but a few things would need to change if you do indeed want people to download.
First of all, disaggregate your mods. I want a mod that stops the autocentre, full stop. I don't want your button mapping as I already use the excellent 'instant sign casting for ds4' mod that has its own button mapping through the program 'inputmapper'. So in other words, there should be a separate mod for the autocentre fix, a separate mod for your custom button mapping, and then finally a separate mod for your graphics/FPS fix (which has absolutely nothing to do with autocentre).
Secondly, your description should be much more concise and easy to follow. It needs to say in one sentence what this mod does, i.e. 'This mod will effectively remove the autocentre feature and is for controllers only'. It should say which controllers it is compatible with, e.g. is it just xbox360 and logitech? Will it work with a ds4? etc. Your description should also list any incompatibilities, e.g. perhaps reiterate that this is for controllers only, or that it does not work with the button mapping mod that I mentioned above. If this fix only works by creating a new button map with a different program than input mapper, you should say so. Next your description can (but is not necessary to) explain how your mod achieves this fix. After that you should explain the install and (optionally) the uninstall process, including the exact files needed (really, you shouldn't be including any files that are not necessary to the mod). Finally, you can mention and provide links to your other mods. If people want your graphics fix, they will download it - especially if you provide a clean, easy to understand, and polished mod that fixes the autocentre issue.
That would be as clear as day and very helpful if you could just amend your mod to reflect my suggestions. Hell, I'll even write it for you if you like. I am a writer so it would be no trouble if you just gave me the details.
"If all you want is the camera auto center fix, then just use the x360ce_x64.exe , x360ce.ini , and xinput1_3.dll files. There is a backup one in the TW3 backups folder if the main one doesn't work."
Please specify that this "fix" works for controllers only! Otherwise, together with the "FPS improvement fix" that you recommend (lower resolution - like, really... ?! ) I call your "mod" pretty much bullshit.
Isn't it obvious by looking at the pics... and reading the description? You should always read and understand a mods description in FULL, no matter how long it is, before you decide if it is what "you think it is".
Use it if you want, don't if you don't.
I just thought it'd be nice to share how I got the most out of this game by spending the last 3+ weeks, not playing the game, but doing nothing but "getting to places", and coming up with this setup.
1600x900 isn't that bad. (I can't believe I'm saying it either). I'm usually a 1080p+ (in dolphin), with AA up the ass, graphics wh0re and absolutely HATE aliasing and "stair-steps". But, what I hate even more is a game running at less than 60fps. The original Mario's on NES ran at 60fps, and I will except nothing less... 30 years later.
With my SweetFX settings, the game looks better than 1080 without it. To me. By far. The first pic here still looks nothing like it does in real time.
To me, my setup looks like 1080 with DOF, hides some of the more obvious texture resolution "differences", and gives a ton of FPS. And, ~3-4 more free FPS by setting your monitors' resolution to 1600x900 and then running the game in "borderless window" mode.
I'll make changes to clarify this is intended for use with controllers, and the rest is for those with similar setups, who are looking for max framerate, while using "Hairworks on everything but Geralt", and still have a great looking presentation.
To be honest I was really enthusiastic when I read the mod title and mod description some days ago. I downloaded the thing but, to my unpleasant surprise, found out by reading NOT your description but some posts on CDPR forums that this is solely for controllers.
So yes, there was a problem regarding a clear description. You can even see it here, in the comments area, a post below. But now, that you changed it, makes more sense.
I still find misleading the FPS improvement description, as this "fix" doesn't involve some tweak, file or .ini config. Lowering the resolution was never objectively considered a fix and it's not what players are expected to do when they want MORE frames per second. But, this is just me, eh. Not my concern really, as I (still) can make decisions on my own.
I just downloaded NVIDIA Inspector because of your last screenshot and it gave me so much FPS and it seems like a good alternative to overclocking with MSI. My question to you is, how'd you unlock the "prioritize temperature" on the overclock screen? Mine is grey'd out. Care to help?
I do use MSI Afterburner to overclock, and that is how I was able to set "Prioritize Temperature". I simply used nvidiaInspector for the "setup" pic 'cause it gives more info about the hardware.
I just added a 6th pic that shows my setup in Afterburner. (The monitoring graph represents 1 full rotation of the camera around Geralt, ie; how long it took to make one full rotation on it's own).

Looking forward to an improved mod/description.
Cheers

When I spin the camera and put down my mouse, camera still auto centers.
You would need a program that would "drag" your mouse cursor very slowly... ?
Might wanna edit that Mod title then...
But, I like that this method is on at all times, and I really do like the way the camera pans SUPER SLOWLY all on it's own.
I will be keeping these settings even after CDPR gives us the option in game.
It's "Cinematic"!
I like it!
("Thumbs Up" = "Endorse" here on the Nexus. It's a green button in the top right of all mod pages).
My question to you is, how'd you unlock the "prioritize temperature" on the overclock screen? Mine is grey'd out. Care to help?
