      I think it lowered my FPS about 3 frames, I'm playing at 2560x1440 with a GTX-970 on ultra getting about 30 frames

      Actually not, i tested it. no impact on FPS...it uses a bit more video ram though, if your card is 4gig and over it should be perfectly fine.

      Actually i noticed a massive drop of about 20 FPS in the sewers of Novigrad, quest to kill the frog thing where you meet Shani.
      I am certain it is this because when i removed it, it went 20 frames higher.
      That is the only area with a big drop in FPS.

      4k for some rocks you will only notice if you move the camera close enough with some mod...ok..

      I used without the 4k textures.. 1gb VRAM "old computer" no noticeable performance loss. Some of the other new mesh mods though will greatly degrade fps. So depends what else you are using.

    Sorry for bothering you with such a question, but do you use some lighting mods or reshade or it's just a vanilla lighting?

    Different load system compare with skyrim ?It only will load textures with high priority?not be covered by lower priority?HDRP usually set highest priority 1?If want use this mod?set HDRP to 2.

    i'd really like to use this mod, but 4k textures is complete overkill for some rocks, 1k or 2k options would be very nice.

    Great mod. Had issues with HDRP at first, but then gave it priority over this and all is good. Thanks.

      Put it lower in the load order.

      Do this by putting it lower than the HD REworked folder in your mods folder.

      This is easily done by editing the file name, for example, change the folder name in your Witcher 3 Mods folder from ModNextGenStoneandMisc to ModzzzNextGenStoneandMisc.

      The game loads these files in alphabetical order, so you can just rename folders to give one priority over another.

      No, it's the other way around.

      HD rework should be the lowest with ZZZ in the name so every texture not loaded by another mod before (with higher alphabetic order) is loaded by it. The other mods that are higher in alphabetic order are the ones which override it.

      I've tested it myself, when put the HD reworked lower the rock texture doesn't change, then i put it back higher than this mod and everything is working.
      Test at White Orchard.

      This load order nonsense is so confusing. I cannot get this mod to work with HD Reworked and UHDP. Here is my mods.settings:

      [modHDReworkedProject]
      Enabled=1
      Priority=0

      [modUHDP]
      Enabled=1
      Priority=1

      [modNextGenStoneAndMisc]
      Enabled=1
      Priority=2

      [modHdtexture1]
      Enabled=1
      Priority=3

      Any help?

    The mod contains two folders. Are they both required? Which one does what?

    And how do I get this mod to work with HDRP?

      One is for textures, the other for meshes. Both should work automatically since they don't overwrite each others files (yet), but it wouldn't hurt to create a "mods.settings" file.
