I would also like to thank blood222 for the brief explanation of updating the combat.ws file of next-gen ver. by adding a single line of code. Tested it in-game and can confirm that it works. I tested it on 4.0 +2 hotfixes patch and it works as stated, author could tag it as compatible for next gen. However the replenishment on both sword mod seems buggy and needs work.
It does work, but it is missing some of the fixes for "combat.ws". Though, it's a breeze to fix it yourself since the mod (as it says in the description) only changes a single line.
Severance on both swords works with version 1.30 so no update needed there. however, the replenishment on both sword needed an update to work with 1.30. so for those who are interested here is a link to the updated version:
Thanks yet again. I completely overlooked this post in the past until I realized recently that my game keeps crashing when using the replenishment file uploaded on this page.
Also can a confirm that it is working perfectly fine, perhaps OP is using a secondary weapon like the poker or the shovel, I'm pretty sure they can't be effected by runewords
