Unfortunately does not seem to work for me. No matter if I put it on 0.0 or 1 no change. Just a slight wind like normal. Any idea?

      Hey man.
What is your game version, which method did you try and it didn't work? (one of the mod files or your rendering.ini)
I assure you that i tried the code with 0.0f value, ran the game and literally no wind breeze.

make sure that your game is up to date and try using the settings unlocker:

I tried this with old gen, but i can't get it to work

Since this option is not available by default in old gen, does anyone know if i can make it work? I want to be able to change the wind scale without using the Tweaks mod if possible, and i want to use this mod in combination with Better Vanilla Lighting Changes for its clouds, since it is not compatible with More realistic wind effect, and when trying to edit the csv files of better vanilla lighting to reduce the wind strength, the wind was still strong for some reason

old-gen is not the case for me anymore. so im not interest in any lighting - weather mod / mod combination on old-gen.
please judge this mod on its own purpose.  as the mod works only on the next-gen w3.

I didn't understand a bit, what is the difference between the main file and the alternative one?

main file is my custom rendering.ini file + also includes the windscale parameter.

alternative file is a simple custom.ini file for those who does not want to edit their own rendering ini. only contains the windscale parameter.

Heads-up. Tweaks also add this option. Thanks for creating it nonetheless.

      There is actually.

finding the corresponding csv file for skellige, edit, save , package into a mod.
either using redkit or wolvenkit. explore the asset browser.
      bundle\\content\engine\environments\skellige\

      try editing these 2 files:
      default_weather_template.csv and
      weather_skellige.csv

find and edit "windScale" value for each weather type.

Thanks! That's a really great idea and reminds me on the Guiding Wind mod, that's based on Ghost of Tsushima. Still using it from time to time.
