Hello guys, Update 5.0 has been finally released.

Sorry for this long wait but unfortunately I always have to do everything myself so preparing all these things to release really takes a lot of time and efforts (especially making high quality and very polished stuff). But I think it is worth make some people and yourself happy.
But anyway, next update (5.1) will come much faster and will be probably even better and bigger than 5.0 (because I just didn't have time to finish some of the new awesome stuff to 5.0 and also now I have more time for this).

    Hello Guys!
Sorry for the long inactivity, I was slightly busy. But by going to the topic, the 5.1 update is in development and the pace of work is growing. Here are some screenshots of Reworked Rocks v5.0 (yes, rocks were re-reworked four times before but I think that 5.0 is the final one ) Now also Power Stones are reworked.

Rest of planned stuff in 5.1: wood logs, probably some trees, wood stacks, some stone walls in Skellige, mushrooms (everything in my best quality). Release in a one/two months.

    Regards

Can v5.0fix be managed by NMM (installed/uninstalled)?

Do you think you could improve the banding on flare textures?

Upgrading mod from very earlier version for my next play through, but once 5.0 is installed, starting conversations causes a very long black/blurred loading screen for quite awhile, which is fixed by uninstalling the mod. I have a good computer Core I7 4.0Ghz, 16GB Ram, GTX 980TI, SSD. Any ideas on this or just not able to run this now?

Likely too many texture mods or too many mods in general. Use mod merger to combine some if this is the issue. Don't merge HDRP though- it doesn't play friendly with being merged.

Disable some of DLC content and merge mods, but don't merge HDRP.

I would say, CDPR fault here. DLC content (like Nilfgaardian Armors, Temerian Armors, Triss/Yen/Ciri alternative looks, etc.) count towards the texture limit.

I have ~80 mods, but disabled almost ALL DLCs leaving only B&W, H&S and additional Gwent cards, some extra quests enabled. That's 9 or 10 out of 16 DLCs.

To merge scripts use script merger, to merge bundle0, texture.cache etc. use mod merger. Though you need to read description of EACH mod if it's mergable (HDPR, COMPILATION are not merge friendly for example, but The Aard, improved Axii, Better FX, Brutal Blood, Aerondight retexture are all fine). Just hit recommended in Mod Merger and see what it picks up, just untick stuff you "think" might not work. I mange ;).

Hi info0! I didn't know that the DLCs count towards the mod limit, good to know. By disabling them, do you mean turn them of in game in the options? Or deleting them from the DLC folder?

EDIT: Did some testing. You have to delete the folders to increase the mod limit.

There's a way to use Mod Merger to Merge DLC's, I have not use it as such, but I've read it somewhere on Nexus.
If you try this however!!! PLEASE BACKUP all affected files since this is not first hand information!!!!
But I think it goes like this:

      - Create Temp folder for all of the mods you have in Mods folder, and move all /mods/ folders there.
      - Copy the DLC:s you want to merge to /Mods/ and rename them modDLCxxxx
      - Run Mod Merger and merge all that you're able
      - Your merged dlc is now modMergedFiles or something. Move that back to DLC and rename it dlcMerged
      - Restore your mods folder to former glory.

I don't think you need to "delete the folders for DLC" I simply turned them off in game, the Alternate Outfits for Yenn, Triss, Ciri because there are better mods out there such as Stylish Yenn, Stylish Triss to replace those default outfits.

OK installed this mod using installer, I found the 'modHDReworkedProject' folder in the mods directory after install.
But ingame I cannot see Halks Ultra HD in graphics setting?

Is there anything else needed for install?

    And on this page:
    https://forums.cdprojektred.com/forum/en/the-witcher-series/the-witcher-3-wild-hunt/mod-discussions/62456-the-witcher-3-hd-reworked-project-by-halk-hogan-pl

it says to use NMM for install. And then some other mods I want to install say to use Witcher 3 MM, lol why is there so many confusing ways to install?!!? what do I use what, do i do?

Just install manual. It's the best way and then if something isn't right, you'll know if was YOUR FAULT, not a programme's I began installing manually a good while back and I like it more, things are more stable as well.

      1) Download loosefiles
      2) Extract it somewhere
      3) Access where you extracted it and go to /Main folder/mods/
      4) Copy (or cut) modHDReworkedProject
      5) Paste this inside your Witcher 3/Mods/ folder
      6) You're set and running HDRP. You will not see the texture option in settings, that is another procedure. Read the Readme-file for details.

Hello, I keep getting crash (CTD) near the Nilfgardian tower in White Orchards (beginning of the game), near the guarded treasure (patrolled by wolves). I'm not sure if this is because of the mod or if there are other things causing it? I use W3EE with the options (All Quest Obj, Immersive Cam), and the rest are texture mods (HD Reworked project being the biggest, with the rest probably 3-4 textures being merged into one).

Any help is appreciated! Thank you!

Just don't merge this mod at all. Every other texture mod is OK
