Hello my friends! Finally it's time! HD Reworked Project NextGen Edition will be released in November 23. In this video you can see what improvements HDRP is bringing to Novigrad, and this is just a small part of all the changes. The modification affects the entire game world, and makes it much more beautiful, realistic and full of details, and the number of improvements can be counted in hundreds. You will find out more on the day of the release.Have a nice day and see you on November 23!
I am more excited for this mod update than any games coming out in the near future. Says a lot about the quality of Halk's work, the endless replay ability of W3, and the current state of the gaming industry lol
Damn, I caught myself thinking that I'm waiting for the release of the HalkHogan mod more than the release of any game. Thank you very much! You did a great job! Let me ask you a small question, will you add functionality similar to the Truefire mod to your mod?
Hi HalkHogan. Just curious if you will increase water texture quality with upcoming update? Sorry if your showcase videos shows this improvement already I watched them but didn't remember about this, somehow.
As a 1.32 player, this would be significant. The water on old-gen has aged pretty badly, so I'd greatly appreciate either the next-gen textures ported to classic, or a custom improved set of textures if possible.
I just tried BlitzFX and recommend it to any 1.32 player. It completely overhauls the water among many other improvements like soft/contact shadows and improved ambient occlusion. Something about the name always made me think it was a reshade preset so I overlooked it, but it's easily one of the most advanced graphical upgrades I've ever seen on nexus
Yes BlitzFX were must have mod for old gen along with Halk's HDRP but sadly BlitzFX doesn't work with nextgen... this why an improved water textures would be really nice since Halk doing amazing job with general texture modding I believe he could do amazing water textures just like his other textures he made for Witcher 3 :)
Won't matter, the water physics got downgraded from a physics based solution to a simple script one around 2014. If you wanted to you could import 16k textures and things would become even worse because you would realize just how stale and predictable the water sources are.
I downloaded a few mods other than this one (MapQuestObjectives, Enable Jumping in Water, No Pop-Up for read Books, BGX Skellige Boats, and Upscaled HUD Elements), I have an RTX 3060 mobile (6GB VRAM) and play on 4k. I had a stable 60fps before, however now it fluctuates down to even the 40's, even if I lower my graphical settings from high to medium (my raytracing is off). Is it this mod causing it or could it be one of the others? It doesn't seem to me that it should be the others, but according to the performance description, it should not have such a big effect.
How can I remove real-time reflections for the water? This one looks decent but, of course, causes a massive FPS drop and isn't worth it at all. If you know how, please let me know.
Does the current HD rework still run on the latest Witcher 3 update ? I have been absent from the game for quite awhile but I think its time to get back into the adventures of Geralt
I cannot run the Witcher 3 without this so any info would be great :)

Thanks Halk!
That's the song for my father's memorial.
Could you focus on clouds? CE did some good job on them but maybe you could make better the sky :)

We need REAL-NEXT-GEN water textures (and/or meshes even, if need be).
@Lolzzl, IKR! So hopefully, things will change for the better when CDPR re-releases the Witcher 3 in the form of a remake with UE5 at its core!
But more importantly... are you on Classic 1.32? Because on Next Gen, you don't need this mod any more since it's one of the integrated mods.

Can't wait, Halk!
Thank you. For everything.
