Am I crazy? I swear before the next gen update the Viper Swords in White Orchard had their own unique appearances. I thought it was a mod I had that fucked them up. Anyway thanks for the fix
Ever since I played The Witcher 3 I fell in love with the armor of the other schools, but when I saw that the swords are all the same with just a few small variations, it bothered me a lot, so I thank you for your incredible work and since I don't understand anything about mods, I don't know how to ask for this, but could you do the same with the swords of the other schools too? Like the bear's ones, which in the art of Gwent cards are always wider and have small spikes on the sides.
Thanks for your comment! I've actually been planning to overhaul the witcher school swords for ages lmao, but I'm currently stuck because I can't get runes to appear correctly on my modded swords. So for now I can only use the assets available in REDkit, such as these swords. (Which for some reason were never used in the expansion??) I'm very curious about the Gwent artwork, could you link them? It would be really fun to see if it's something I could do in the future!
well about my first comment I was talking about the silver swords which are all the same although I would really appreciate a change in the steel swords of the other schools too and here are the gwent arts although not all:

Very cool, I also liked the idea of a silver sword with the parrying spikes along the blade! I've been thinking about making a elven sabre cat school sword for the longest time as well, ever since I learned in-game that the cat school gear is based on elven gear. But as I mentioned earlier I can't get it to work at the moment... :/ Thanks for the shorts!
Hey, i noticed that the steel sword clips through the scabbard because its now wavy, any way to make the scabbard wider like the better scabbards mod? This is regarding the HOS steel sword. I'm pretty noob at merging mods, so any help would be appreciated.
That's unfortunately an issue that all the wave-bladed swords have in vanilla. I am unsure if Better Scabbards work with this mod but I think it's unlikely. I myself have plans of making my own mod that fixes the scabbards for all wavy swords and I would update this mod as well with that mesh. But I have a lot of work rn so we'll have to see when that happens!
lezzurdoomzero, I check the files, and Witcher Set School should already change the appearance with a Viper pommel. Can you reach me on Discord and send screenshots of your Script Merger?
ElementaryLewis, sure, gimme a moment. Actually, hmm, I meant that the swords didn't turn to the other version, the grandmaster ones, pommels are fine for me, but no Flambergesque blade :( which is a bummer, I really vibe with that design.
I check again. Viper Basic and Viper Mastercrafted (where you loot on Open Sesame Quest) have the restored appearance, while the Viper Grandmaster (from Countess) have the Venomous appearance. If you could provide many screenshots of your game and your Script Merger, I can help you.
And pardon haeylp for the comment flow. If you could upload again the mod as ZIP instead of directly from REDkit, we could download the mod, and I could see how to make it BiA compatible for everyone.
Testing in game. It seems haeylp edit the texture of the sword to looks better. That's why it's different than screenshots. For sure my mod is working.
A lot of things going on here so I'll try to answer everything! The mod file is unfortunately quarantined so it can't be downloaded right now. I think it's because I packaged it as a .rar file instead of a .zip file which is recommended, that's my bad and I'll have to remember it for the future! I've reached out to the support asking for a moderator to look into it but it will probably still take some time since it's the holidays. I'll keep my eye on it and notify those asking for the download when it's ready!
To answer @ElementaryLewis, I haven't done any editing to the sword textures. They are added as they appear in REDkit and I've only edited the inventory icons and scabbards. I'd also like to say that it's good that you're recommending BiA to others but you don't need to be so pushy to those who don't want to download it. I can still make a compability version for this mod for those who do want to use both, it's good to have the option for it :)
Sorry to brings such news, but Brothers in Arms already restores this Viper appearance. So, using your mod will conflict to it. The main difference is the icon. You may make a BiA version of your mod.
You take their same files as your mod, and you apply you edit there. But I think you edit XML files, and you incidentally put the same edit as BiA does.
I don't use it either, so your mod is A+ for me personally i always wanted something like your mod without BIA that messes my whole game up i did try to install it twice it messed up my game twice so i had to reinstall everthing all over its a nightmare so thank God for your mod. Can you make it available to download though ? There is no icon to download it.
