About this mod
Fixes the Viper school swords by using the correct sword models added with Hearts of Stone. Also adds new inventory icons and new, custom scabbards to make them look in-line with other witcher school swords. Finally it will feel like Geralt's wielding proper witcher swords after getting his hands on the first pair of diagrams in White Orchard!

Ever since I played The Witcher 3 for the first time back in 2018 it's been bothering me how the Viper school swords look. The steel sword is a Cat school sword and the silver sword is just the default one you get at the start of the game but with different stats! And when you get the upgraded Viper Venomous swords at level 39 they do have unique models, but they look like all the other tier 1 witcher swords!? For all these years I've been thinking of it and there hasn't been a single mod that, in my eyes, fixes the issue in a satisfying way. So, after discovering CDPR actually made several proper models for the Viper swords I'm finally putting an end to this eyesore!
What this mod does:
The sword in the stone:
The only way you can obtain the Viper Venomous silver sword without console commands is by finding it in Gaunter O'dimm's world during the final quest in Hearts of Stone. However, when you find it you'll find out it looks like a generic silver sword lodged in a rock. I've tried to change it in REDkit to make it look like the actual sword you're picking up but the program keeps crashing over and over again when I do it. So for now I've left it as is and when I've learned more about editing worlds I will update it!
Installation:
- Download and enable this mod with Vortex Mod Manager. (recommended!)
OR
- Download and manually place the 'modReal_Viper_School_Swords' folder in your 'The Witcher 3\mods' folder.
