Version 2.10 is up. Includes 41 new fixes. When updating from an older version, delete the entire ProjectMersey folder from your Override folder and then copy the new one.
Consult the changelist on the mod's page for what's included with the latest update (marked in yellow).
Under optional files you can now find Excel file with a detailed information on every single edit, what it does and which files it changes. This information was moved from Nexus main page over to the file.
Installing mods in preparation for my first playthrough, and it looks as though the Sex Takes Time mod conflicts with this. The following files are duplicated:
Can someone advise me how to handle this? I imagine I should keep the Project Mersey files, as they contain actual bugfixes, but will that break the older mod?
I don't know how that mod operates, but you probably have to keep Sex Takes Time files, otherwise these characters whose files are conflicting, well the mod probably won't do what it says. In this mod's case you would lose some journal entries on the characters. Basically your call what is more important to you.
@MerseyRockoff , I also had this exact problem, and as very frustrating to troubleshoot, with uninstalls and re-downloads. it didn't help it was part of a collection. If i may suggest, either make it clear ith instructions to not have/make a backup copy of the non-modded modules folder in the data folder, and/or put this as "not a bug" in the bug section, incase anyone else faces this issue.
Hi, Mersey! Fantastic job on the mod, really looking forward to replay the game with it. I have a few questions: Is this mod compatible with Rise of the White Wolf mod? Do the restored dialogue lines have voice acting? Are the voices in Polish?
Hey, Mersey. I'm trying to mod some dlg files to improve my localisation. My attempts to do so is quite good so far. But i have a problem with the opening cutscene. In the Prologue, u know, where the narrator talks about plague and hunger, 1270 year blue mountains of kaedwen. i found dlg file with text and edit it, but it doesn't work for some reason... Can u help me?
Maybe that file is not actually used and a different file is used instead. But I don't know about this particular scene. Also make sure you only have 1 copy of that file in your Override folder.
thanks for your reply. i even unpacked cutscenes to check out. opened this cutscene in jinni and conversation file was the one i edited. weird... it's the only dlg that doesn't work. anyway thx for answering
I haven't played the game in almost 2 years. When I play again, I will probably find something more to fix. So this mod is never completely done. No plans for any playthroughs in the near future, though.
With this mod installed the cutscene with the King of the Wild Hunt would not trigger upon defeating the Grandmaster in the Ice Plains. Removing q6002_iceplains.qst from my override folder fixed the problem. Conditions: I made the promise to the King of the Wild Hunt during the encounter in the Outskirts crypt. Mod was installed from game start.
Just removing the .qst file from the Override folder at that point wouldn't do anything, as all quest files are loaded into the save game upon the start of the game. Or did you mean you swapped out the file with Save Editor?
No, I just deleted it from the folder. I put it back in and reloaded the save just now and the cutscene triggered. It must have been just exiting the game that fixed the issue last night. I reloaded the save 4 times when it initially happened and couldn't get it to work. I've never seen such a thing. Edit: Forgot to say how awesome a full playthrough of the game was in with this mod installed. So many bits of content I had never seen before.
Yep, I've already started it. Speaking of which, I noticed Ard'aenye was auto-equipped on Geralt when I returned from the Ice Plains and then imported into TW2. I was using and intended to import the Mahakam Rune Sihill so I had to reload and drop Ard'aenye. I thought this sword was supposed to be lying on the ground?
There's a conflict with the Complete Sword Overhaul Mod on "q5005_beren.utc", is it a quest file? Now, considering CSO's file is probably critical to it, I kept it instead of yours. BTW, great QOL changes! Thanks!
