Reshade V4 Beta: New gameplay reshade file. This will reduce brightness everywhere. Used shader: PD80_04_Contrast_Brightness_Saturation.fx with exposure far -1.000 new value New value for standard exposure -1.000 hotfix for looking down on the ground, the darkness went on and off in v2 CAS: sharpening V2 and V3 was to dark and V4 seems to be way better. New V4 re adjusted the gamma and brightness with Lagom monitor test ingame, this is one of my mods. New screenshots added, where you can see it.
To be honest for me the only problem is the damn brightness of the sun. When there is no sunshine there is no problem. I'm not lagging, the game ain't crashing and online play only works sometimes. We should not play this game until they fix the sun xD I'm just not good enough with using reshade to fix so many different light and sunshine situations. When im playing the game with this reshade im just disabling it with a hotkey in the nightime, it isn't a good fix but it is the best i can do. cya
UPDATE: The sun and brightness has not been fixed by the patch ! [March 17.2023.] I've been playing for some hours and this reshade is ok for using it in daytime, i'm using it right now for my playthrough. cya
Guys if you come to an area, where the depthbuffer screw something up like realy looking bad (night time), then set a hotkey for enable and disable the effect as long as you are in this area, just disable it for a while. Depthbuffer: Needs to be enabled in the addon menu, if it doesn't work. Enable the depthbuffer for sure and enable the other checkboxes only if you want to change the far exposure value, as seen on the screenshots. Hotkeys recommendation: Pos1: standard hotkey to enable the reshade menu ingame Insert: toggle reshade on and off hotkey for comparing the difference Print: for screenshots will be inside the game folder Page up: reload the ini file Page down: performance mode on and off End: for choosing the next preset
A really good first step to improve this hell of a game. Hopefully the devs will patch it out soon enough and people will post more mods to improve our experiences. Thanks a lot!
Yes it is way better now im actually starting to enjoy the game !? The effect of objects far away looking milkwhite is a real effect in real life, but i don't want it in my game idk. At first i thought this over the top brightness is only on the pc version but the console players have it too. Thanks for the feedback and good hunting !
Yes the screenshots were looking nice but as i kept playing more, i could see it too, the sun changing all the time and the over saturation, you are right with saying that. Made a new test version and the old versions are archived. I've started working with the depthbuffer and it ain't easy. Look at the few new beta screenshots and feel free to checkout my betatest V1 version and if you don't enjoy the CAS then just disable it, uncheck the box. Also keep in mind guys the devs need to fix the "brightness and the sun" and then we can make real reshades for sharing here, this is only a test reshade. cya later after the patch
